What would you say if I told you that I have acting experience with one Colombian movie production company?

So, while traveling around South America I wanted to try various things. That is why when I had an opportunity to join a horror show in Medellin, I had no doubts about it.

So, I spent whole October of 2016 being a zombie, scaring poor people in a horror house. It was pretty professional I must say. People were actually terrified most of the time. I saw little kids crying and leaving the show before it ends; I saw grown-up men screaming like little girls and I saw women falling on the ground and curling in a fetus position.

I was a good zombie I guess. Our whole troop was made of 9 people and we all did great. You know what is very strange to me until this day?

All of us were laughing heavily, seeing people losing their shit and being terrified. It is wrong, isn't it? I mean, people should be sorry to see others feeling bad. However, we did not. I think it is because we justified it by saying that all the people came into the horror house with their free will and having the idea to get scared.

That is another thing that bothers me. Why the hell do we want to get those thrilling but so horrible emotions? It is very masochistic if you ask me. 

So, while I was enjoying being a sadistic zombie actor, visitors were letting their masochistic side take control. That is what a horror show is.

The acting part is hard as hell. All of us had to spend 4-5 hours scaring people non-stop. By the end of the third day, all the actors were exhausted. This kind of work is draining your energy with unbelievable power. Also, we had a pretty hard task. As our director said:

>People in Medellin is hard to scare. They have seen it all already.

So I no longer wish to be a Hollywood actor as I used to when I was a kid. This work is not for me. It is hard, exhausting, and very very intense. When dreams come true, they become a reality, huh?

Oh yeah - I had to wear so much makeup, which would start hurting by the end of the night... That made me even more sorry that women are pressured by society to wear makeup... It sucks! It also ruins your skin. It might look amazing, but hell, I am happy that I don't have to do it constantly.

So, all our troop of inexperienced actors had to come to a conclusion that this kind of work is nothing more but hard work. You get used to it all and you get pissed by different things. If in an office it is a broken coffee machine that pisses you off then on the set, it is a broken door or a crazy director. 

Even change can be Monotonic. So can acting.

Nonetheless, being an actor in a horror show in Medellin sounds way too cool not to be proud of it. If you ever doubt that I am an amazing person, remember this story.

I might also feel like giving some more insights about the show business (am I already an ignorant prick?) because I have seen quite a lot in one month. 

P.S. I have tested and found out that actors are actually using fake blood. I am sorry to ruin all the fun...
