In this post, I want to warn you steemians who like to listening to the music or playing games on the smartphones, tablets, etc. Remember! Never fill the content of the song and install applications haphazardly at the gadget store or service providers for charging songs.

There are many dangers that lurk your gadget when you're charging a game or a song carelessly at the gadget store that is not reliable, especially threats to your privacy. But for this series, I summarize it in two terms of threat, are as follows:

# 1. Virus Threat

Laptop, desktop computer, tablet or smartphone app at the charging songs is very common of being a victim of the virus because the computer/ laptop is often inserted by USB from any sources that are not clear. Thus, computer charging songs and applications can be exposed to the gadget that you use with a virus that usually able to hide away and difficult to detect. The viruses can steal the data which stored in the gadget such as *email account password, Facebook, conversations on messenger, hijack the web browser, and etc.*
If possible, use your own laptop or computer to fill in the gadget's favorite song. For installing the application, please just install it from the official apps store (Google Play, Windows Apps Store, and other official App). Never install third-party applications that can not be trusted.

# 2. The Danger of Information Robbery

The investigations which I did with my partners, we discovered a surprising fact! The majority owner of the gadget store that rogue also uses a hidden application to steal private data in the gadget that connects via USB at your computer or laptop. Jhon (26, not his real name) have opened the gadget store for 4 years that provide gadget operating system upgrade services, filling songs, apps, and games. The location is very strategic which cell phone store in Peuniti-Banda Aceh roadside, so that they have a lot of customers and permanent consumers.
"Yes, we are using USB dumper application to" pick up "the data in the gadget customers", said Jhon. USB Dumper is an application that runs hidden terms and serves to retrieve data in the gadget data storage media (internal memory or external memory). For data that is stolen, Jhon is quite meticulous in filtering. "I'm just filtering the data files with the extension of pictures and videos only. If lucky, sometimes in a smartphone can be a lot of photos or videos," said Jhon when the team met him at the phone shop where he trade. The video and image file selection are not without purpose and direction. The ultimate goal is to find private photos or videos privately owned by the users of smartphones or gadgets. "we usually get hot video or images, I save it as a collection, or share it... hehehe" Jhon said with a chuckle.
Hmmm... imagine! private photos or videos in your phone are spread on the internet? That’s why, we are as gadget users should be careful when charging the songs or apps, because there is any possibility of data theft by the rogue who is not responsible.
