国槐是我们国家特有的树种，以生命力强，寿命长，果实能入药等特点，而深受老百姓的青睐，国槐还是我们泰安市的市树。

今天我介绍一下城西七里村一棵八百年的古槐。 位于七里村东村口，路北有一棵古槐，树干足有两搂粗，已被石栏杆围起，此古槐已有八百年的历史，早在元宋时期就有了，虽然树皮斑驳，树身有空洞，但仍然绿叶丛丛，焕发勃勃生机。 

在这棵古槐的旁边还有一棵小槐树，像是母子相依，别有情趣。

小槐树旁有一巨石，记载着为保护古槐，捐资者的事迹。 

古槐下有一个石碾，至今还能用，古槐侧面立有石碑，上书：槐碾。这不禁让我联想起那句：问我祖先在何处，山西洪洞大槐树！
