Good day brethren of the #steemchurch, for today, I would like to ask us an important question about our daily lives,

**Are we truly Grateful to God every day?**

**Should we worship him less if we do not get what we asked of him?**

To be honest, I know it is hard especially as humans, when we have such an awesome plan for our lives and then we just end up meeting shortcomings in life. It can be demoralizing and disheartening and also in some ways it can break our will. 

I, for example, not so long ago, my laptop and phone spoilt. Almost at the same time, I had absolutely no idea what to do or how to go about my everyday business because basically I need them for my everyday life as a student. The first night of its occurrence, I could not sleep well because I kept on wondering where to get the funds from.

But then, I was advised by a friend to be calm and just relax. I relaxed and luckily for me since I was surrounded by amazing friends, I had people who told me that I could borrow their laptops if I wanted to use it. I still haven’t gotten a new laptop or phone but I know it will all be well in the end and if it is not well, then it is not the end. That’s my belief system, that all things work for the good of those that believe in Christ, our Savior.

The Psalmist said in Psalm 8 vs 3-4

**When I consider thy heavens, the works of thy hands, the moons and the stars, which thou hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? And the son of man, that thou visited him?** 
</blockquote>

The psalmist is trying to fathom why God in all his glory would care about us, with all the marvelous things that he has created. I also, sometimes try to wonder why God would care about us so much, for though we were made in his image and likeness, we are prone to making mistakes and errors. Despite that, he forgives us and accepts us back wholly. So what then is our excuse for being ungrateful to God?

Sometimes we meet such disappointment for a purpose, sometimes what we want or the plan we have for our lives isn’t what we need and when we don’t get it we are disappointed but our eyes are later opened when we see a better opportunity. In every situation we should learn to give thanks to God.

So in conclusion, to answer the questions earlier asked, we should all take a thorough examination of our lives and take a moment to thank the Lord for his many blessings and gifts upon our lives. And most importantly, we should remember to give God thanks in all situations.
