Uncertainty grips cryptocurrency market in anticipation of G20 summit

Fear, uncertainty, and doubt. Of these emotions, uncertainty is the most effective at suppressing markets. Cryptocurrency traders await discussions at the G20 summit in Argentina, taking place this week. Two major discussions are scheduled, the goal being to hash out a response to cryptocurrency from leaders of industrialised and emerging economies around the world.

The first meeting takes place tomorrow. While an official agenda for the meeting has not been released, a public document states that the goal of the meeting will be to "mitigate the risks without discouraging innovation" ([source](https://www.coindesk.com/g20-delegates-will-seek-common-response-crypto-talks/)). While this sounds hopeful, it causes uncertainty to dominate the market as traders move to safer positions, away from the more volatile cryptocurrencies in particular, and into more stable assets.

Concerns surround cryptocurrency's abilities to be used for the purposes of illegal activities, money-laundering, and the ease of evading tax responsibilities with cryptocurrency transactions and profits. Of course, the same could be said of government-issued cash.

Hopefully, cooler heads prevail and the potential innovative value of cryptocurrency is recognised. The market could take a sudden turn; bullish or bearish, within minutes of any significant announcements from these meetings. If you like taking a gamble, today could be an excellent day to pick up cryptocurrencies at a discount - that is - unless tomorrow is even a better day...

yeah well I think that after the price correction and when the uncertainty of the G 20 top will fade away the market will rise again like it did before , for me it's certain that the price will go up again and that if one invest wat he can miss that at the end of 2018 it 's possible that it will pay back and have decent gains . Just wait for the revival of the market to have the bottom low buy and then hope that it will be a fantastic year with not to much bad news or fud
