This article aims to share my long-term cryptocurrencies investment strategies in 2018. Before, getting into details, as always, this is just my own opinion and not investing recommendations. There are many other strategies of investment in cryptocurrency, and I encourage you do research a lot to build your own strategy and portfolio. <br>  <ol> <li>Pick your own coins/token for long-term holding and stick with them: <ul> <li>I do a lot of research and pick my top 5 coins for holding long term.</li> <li>Stick with those 5 coins for at least 1 year period.</li> <li>My Top 5 coins are in Top 20 coins right now.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Pick alt coins/token for short-term holding (days, weeks, months) <ul> <li>Keep around 5 alt coins/tokens at a time</li> <li>These coins/tokens should have have something special so that their price could be increase rapidly.</li> <li>When these coins/tokens pump, sell it, convert to your long-term portfolio</li> <li>Repeat - Remember to buy low, sell high.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Investing in ICOs: <ul> <li>Choose potential ICOs, invest a proper amount. Btw, i have a list of my <a href="https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@xuho/top-ico-in-2018-to-invest">ICOs here</a>. I update constantly in comments.</li> <li>When ICOs hit exchange, take profit. Then convert into your long-term portfolio.</li> </ul> </li> </ol> So thats my strategy for 2018. Along the road, definitely there will be the moment that the market goes down or coins you picked perform poorly. One thing you should always be is patience.
