The diarygame 08/09/2020 : played a mixed doubles match

Today I had a tennis challenge with some friends of mine that included Joel, Maria, and Maggie. It was a very interesting friendly mixed doubles match.

We began with warming up. Played some good rallies together. I was with Maria and Joel was pairing up with Joel. They were very interesting couple of rallies that were even good to be watched by an audience of some tennis fans.

We then played best of 21 points. We lost with a final score of 21-16 points. At this time I was partnering with Maria. It was an interesting dramatic tennis challenge.

After the 21 points doubles tennis challenge, we proceeded by having some cross court tennis rallies. I played with Joel and Maria rallied with Maggie. I got so exhausted in the process, I had taken long without playing such tough tennis that involved a lot of movements on the court and also some plenty of hard shots.

I had to step off the court for a water break. I removed my shoes and lay down a bit for 5 minutes. My body had heated up and I did it to cool down seriously. Afterwards I open the tap and poured water on my head for 3minutes. My body eventually cooled down, I felt refreshed and ready to got back to the court.

We later on played another doubles tennis challenge. I was paired up with Maggie and Joel was paired up with Maria just for the sake of balancing up both sides.

We played one set and My team lost by 7-6 games. This was though a very tight mixed doubles match. We were meant to win. We shall pay back next time.

My lunch was ready by mid-day. I had some chips, matooke and well fried beef. It was a very tasty one. I accompanied it with a cup of tea since it was a very cold weather condition.

I returned back back home 6pm. Refreshened up, lighted a charcoal stove. Prepared some tea, went to shops to get something to eat.

My partners messed up a lot and we lost some good number of points, that gave our opponents the upper advantage of beating us. I am also trying to get back to my level of fittness I had before and this is also one of the reasons as to why we ended up losing both mixed doubles challenges. Thanks so much for your comment.
