First of all I want to thank @juliakponsford for conceiving and curating this interesting contest as Art Explosion, whose [rules are here](https://steemit.com/art/@juliakponsford/art-explosion-73-theme-hybrids-20-steem-and-pal-ccc-in-prizes). I'm sure it's the most important of the Visual Arts contests on the Steem platforms in terms of the power to summon participants, most of them with high quality work, and in terms of prize amounts, very generous. 

As always, Julia proposes us excellent themes to develop our creativity, so I didn't want to miss the opportunity to participate with some Hybrid being, and by chance it occurred to me that it could be...

#### "Double Hybridization: Me, as a turmeric - A turmeric as me". Step by step.

As I've always said, I'm not a professional illustrator, but an improvised amateur. So I'm not going to give a great explanation, from a technical point of view, on how I got to the result that I share with you today. I will only briefly describe the steps through which I developed this GIF whose name is "Double Hybridization: Me, as a turmeric - A turmeric as me"

To work with Leviathan was suggested to me that I found in my archive this image I made someday of a strange turmeric on my hand. Turmeric is a plant from which the condiment of the same name is extracted, widely used in India to give rich flavor and yellow color to foods. It is said to have great health properties, such as being anti-inflammatory and serve as a depurative. I personally use it by dissolving a small amount in water and drinking it.

Then I was working the photo with the free software FireAlpaca editing it and making a sequence of images to create the double hybridization.

The Transformar Mesh tool is so cool to changing things:

In the last of the images, I included my face... The Turmeric get transformed in me... And my hand, and I suppose, the rest of my body became in a Turmeric... The Double Hybridization ends...
