El Pato Abbondanzieri

<div class="text-justify"><p>Hola amigos de Steemit, es especial a los apasionados por el fútbol y sus grandes historias que nos deja, espero tengan todos un gran inicio de semana. En esta ocasión les hablaré sobre uno de los pocos porteros que hicieron historia y que hoy en día siguen siendo muy recordado por sus aficionados. 

Su nombre es *Roberto Carlos Abbondanzieri* más conocido como **El Pato Abbondanzieri**, nació un 12 de Agosto de 1972 en Bouquet provincia de Santa fe, Argentina, es un gran ex-futbolista que ocupo la posición de arquero. Es recordado por la afición argentina en especial la del club Boca Juniors donde tuvo los años más gloriosos de su carrera.

Sus inicios se dan en el club de su provincia en el Argentino Atlético Club de las Parejas, después se marchó a las inferiores de Rosario central donde jugó hasta principios de 1997. El club Boca Juniors pagó para llevarlo a su plantilla, en donde sus primeras temporadas fueron difíciles. Ya que la titularidad en el arco del equipo xeneize la mantenía Oscar Córdoba otro gran guardameta, hasta que un día el colombiano sufre una lesión dándole la gran oportunidad a Abbondanzieri la cual no dudó en ningún momento de aprovecharla para demostrar su talento.

Desde ese momento nadie le quitó la titularidad al argentino, en donde cosechó grandes títulos como, 6 campeonatos locales, 3 copas Libertadores, 2 Copas Intercontinental, 2 Copas Sudamericana y 1 Re-copa Sudamericana. Además el Pato Abbondanzieri fue considerado como el mejor arquero de Suramérica en el 2003 y de la copa suramericana en 2005.

Después de jugar con su selección en el Mundial de Alemania en el 2006, donde tuvo una buena actuación se marchó al Getafe de España, allí mantuvo un gran nivel llevando al equipo a dos finales de Copa del Rey y también a disputar la copa de la UEFA 2007-2008 donde llegaron a cuartos de final siendo eliminados por el Bayern Múnich. En esa misma temporada se hizo con el *Trofeo Zamora* título que se entrega en la Liga Española al portero con la valla menos vencida.

En el 2009 regresa al Boca pero las cosas no salieron como él quiso, tras los malos resultados con el Boca dañaron los planes que tenía El Pato para el futuro retiro de su carrera como futbolista profesional. Por esta razón emigro al Inter de Porto Alegre de Brasil, pero de nuevo un portero mantenía la titularidad en este club, en esta ocasión era Renán. Hasta un 18 de Diciembre de 2010 tras quedar en el tercer puesto en el Mundial de Clubes después de derrotar al Seongman Ilhwa de Corea del sur con un resultado parcial de 4 a 2, ingresó en el minuto 28 del segundo tiempo en donde fue ovacionado por la hinchada del equipo brasileño.

El Pato Abbondanzieri fue uno de os últimos grandes ídolos argentinos, que defendió con firmeza los tres palos de su portería, nadie ha podido igualar cada uno de los méritos que este gran jugador ha cosechado a lo largo de su carrera.

A pesar de que anheló que su retiro de las canchas fuese en la Bombonera llena de aficionados, siempre será recordado como uno el último gran portero argentino del siglo XX. Hecho que fue constatado por la Federación Internacional de Historia y Estadística del Fútbol eligiéndolo entre los 10 mejores arqueros del siglo XXI.
