Recently @abh12345 published statistics showing a number of interesting results about Venezuelan users of the Steem block chain.

The study shows that 3300 unique accounts have exchanged steem for bolivars. On the other hand, the steem and sbd sold by these users are shown.

On this occasion, I would like to reflect on the data mentioned above and, from my point of view, set out some possible causes of the results I have referred to you.

In general, the Venezuelan user, moreover, the Latino user concentrates on making a publication that is eye-catching, perhaps spending more time on the presentation than on the content itself.

Time is devoted to content separators, text alignment, and a personal signature that identifies the author.

I believe that new users receive little information as well as being superficial. It is based on the number of publications made more on how eye-catching they may be.

Publications should be promoted in different healing projects through discord, if it belongs to one of them, the chances of being voted will be better.

## The sale

The almost total sale of steem obtained is due to 2 causes.

- 	The economic difficulties affecting the country's citizens cause many users to supplement their income with the sale of steem obtained. In other words, the chain of blocks serves as support for many Venezuelan households.

- The understanding of the inner workings of steem is limited. Very few users understand that Steemit is a social network, so it must interact. Moreover, the meaning of giving value to steem has not been assimilated.

## How to add value to a social network based on blockchain

There is no doubt that the content must be attractive, quality and original. But it is necessary to convince external and internal investors that our publications comply with these characteristics, that is to say, the vote in the publications but even more importantly, that these publications are the center of debates, of participation, of interaction. It is regrettable to see a publication with 500 votes and 3 comments.

To the extent that we make our publications truly remarkable by curing them, we will value Steem so that investments arrive, new prices become more and more positive, and rewards become fairer.
