I know I know it has been too long since I shared my heightened and thrilling perspective from the top of the ladder so forgive me ;)  Truth is I have been enjoying summer and working as little as possible.  I did get a little real persons work in this last week so maybe it is time to share some monumental views of my sleepy little town from the dizzying heights of about 18 feet.

Here is a neat look at the outside of town looking in.  a new house with a bean field between us and the real city limits. The neat thing about this one was the home owner is a young contractor so he actually helped me run the wires.  I had a good chat with him as we worked as the first thing he asked me about when we talked about computers was about my opinion of Crypto.  He was of the opinion after subscribing to TA podcasts that it is a great investment, but a crash in the stock market will do the same thing with crypto initially, which will be the best point to buy.  Encouraging as he is an investor in EOS and we spent some time talking about STEEM and he may sign up and start blogging.

I noticed in the pic that I managed to snag a dragonfly which is an absolute saviour here hoovering up the mosquitoes.

This is a big contrast to the edge of town as it was in the middle of town, 1 street over from the main street.  Nice family with young kids and I have to hold my tongue as I do my work as if you cannot parent your friends kids, you CERTAINLY can't parent strangers kids.  Had a neat exchange with a little girl who really seemed to enjoy the compliments on her attention to detail in her colouring and apparently hadn't seen the new Winnie the Pooh movie.
You can see the recycling bins, standard wartime 2-storey houses, and the sky that was half ominous (I got rained on) and half nice.

This one was today which was a little humid and damp but the trees in this older neighbourhood are awesome.  The panorama shot shows that there are houses around (including a nice bed and breakfast owned by this client across the street https://www.cottageoncaledonia.com/ ) I managed to not get stung by the numerous bees and hornets enjoying the vegetation around the house.

After a shorter week of ladder climbing, I had a full week of other work and a tiring trip to Canada's wonderland, it is time for a beer and some local corn on the cob on the BBQ.  I soak the corn in the husk for a while before and just throw them on the BBQ and keep tossing handfuls of water on the BBQ to keep the moisture there.  The beer is from a craft brewery I discovered at the start of my departure from mainstream breweries https://www.hopcity.com/  This one is always there and I only buy it once in a while when I visit a store that doesn't have much of a selection and I know it is solid.  Hoppy and bold and not perhaps in my top 10 but I enjoy it as an older standby that really has been so good for so long.
