Wow, a lot more breaks in the 80s and 90s

I think this tread will grow. More and more companies are adapting the policy that you lose your pto if you do t use it.  
I am curious to see what that stat is for people that work over their "time off". I bet that is growing too

As more technology is implemented in the form of robotics and AI, the number of hours required to complete a job will continue to drop. Wonder if America can adopt the 35 hour work week like in France. Means better work life balance and more folks will stay employed.

I'm not surprised, as Scandinavian countries are being praised as good models for society (even though most of those praising Scandinavia have little insight into/don't support typical Scandinavian politics, demographics and traditions) and we have more time outside of employment. 

Wether this should be considered necessarily good or whether the exact reasons for this can conclusively be linked to political policy or tradition is a matter of speculation however.

The employers will be pisted off about your post hahahha, but we all need to relax in some point, if we are working all the time, we deteriorate very faster from inside out, so long life to the chill out!! xD

Does this statistic factor in whether or not the actual number of Paid Days Off increased or decreased during that period?

Maybe employers just stopped giving as many Vacation Days and they weren't available.

My goal is actually to work a lot more than i do today, but not as an employee but as an entrepreneur and investor. Currently using all my free time aside from my main work to improve myself and I find this very satisfying. Also writing about this here on steemit in my blog. Give it a read ;)
