If you are interested in Astronomy you can use this app to discover whats up there at the sky. 
I have a telescope and sometimes I try to discover planets. I cant normally realise what is a planet or a star.

Point your device to the sky. SkyView shows you where the planets, the Sun, and the Moon. Constellations fade in and out as you explore the stars in the sky are shown with incredible graphics as they orbit the Earth.

This app makes it really easy to find planets and observe them. Also, it has a knowledge about the planets and stars. 
* It tracks them from your position on the earth and finds them for you. Navigates you to find your target planet or star. 
* It has a specification that Travels to the future or the past and sees the sky on different dates and times.
* It even lets you spot popular satellites like the International Space Station and Hubble telescope
