I've decided to try some poetry writing for the first time. I thought it'll be interesting to write in another way other than just blogging. I also think that since Christmas is coming, it'll be nice to do a poem on my faith and walk in Christ. Happy holidays everybody! :)</p>

Very well done, Zord. 

It is, perhaps surprisingly, quite daunting for most people to venture into poetry. Poetry, like all art forms, is a performance. And *performance provokes judgement.*

It is a fact of which we are all intuitively aware, although one which is rarely articulated. 'Standing out' makes you a target ... and red-striped zebras live short lives. 

But it is precisely that willingness to *'suffer (or at least risk) the slings and arrows of life's outrageous fortune'* that *'Moves the Minds of Men.'* That commands salutation ... and salute.

Since everyone at SteemitBloggers, including myself, owes you a debt of gratitude, consider this an offer to return the favor. If ever you need a bit of advice on poetic composition, shoot me a DM.
