I've written extensively in the past about this so called "Matrix" which is to say our collective reality here on earth.  It is the stimuli that our five senses decode into "reality".  But how often to most people stop and think about the fact that most energy in this this world is not able to be seen, smelt, tasted, touched, or heard?  What if our senses were so sophisticated and advanced that we could "see" microwaves and gamma waves? Or what if we could hear as a dog hears?  

The sounds are there, the waves are there, we just lack the equipment in our bodies to decode the structure.  This does not change the fact that we interact with these energies and waves constantly.  Right now people all over the globe use Wi-Fi which is basically invisible waves of energy.  We can't see them, but they are there and we are interacting with them.

What does this have to do with self-awareness?  

I believe firmly, from personal experience, that most people are operating in a subconscious state.  That is, they are simply repeating programs in their bodies and minds that were learned at a very young age, as in seven years old and under.  This explains a lot of the erratic and mindless behaviors we see daily.  

The constant staring at the phones.  The closed mindedness.  The infatuation with small-talk and useless information, or subjects that in no way affect our lives in any intimate way.  Politics comes to mind.

You can generally tell people that are "aware" because of their control over emotional states.  They do not flip out, lose their shit and otherwise act in overly polarized ways.  They keep their cool, they seem to be aware of what is going on around them as well as what is going on *within them*.  This denotes a certain advanced intelligence, it is the conquering of the mind.  There is not a bundle of relentless and useless thoughts flowing through their brains.  It is calm, cool and collected.  That isn't to say they don't show emotions, they just do not allow low-level emotional states impact the decisions they make.  

Its about realizing limits, and then crushing them.  Close mindedness and a victim mentality rooted in fear are the matrix itself.  Everyone has their own matrix to "escape".  It happens when you become *aware* of how powerful you really are, what you're actually capable of.  Its nothing strange, its what successful people talk about all the time.  Its just a more spiritual view of the whole thing.  Live in fear, die in fear.  But fear is false.  Its 100% mental.  Sure, its important at times to show us that we are in danger, but once that emotion controls us its game over.  Once the emotion controls us and not the other way around, we are doomed to be slaves.

But this doesn't have to go on forever.  It happens in bursts.  Sure, we all have times that we conquer fears and expand our limits.  That's what the best athletes on the planet do.  They do things that most people would find impossible.  Because they do not think like most people, they are very *self aware* of their emotions.  They harness and use emotions for their advantage, not the other way around.

This world seems to be hell bent on having us controlled by our emotions and not the other way around.  Every day since birth we are told why we can't do something.  We're told to conform.  We're told that we are in pitiful, although maybe not in such words.  We're told we are defective, that we should just "get by".  Because most people live in fear we are told to live like those people.  We end up frustrated and controlled, usually by way of government and heavily controlled propaganda.  To keep us docile servants of the state.

Imagine what would happen if everyone realized their true potential in every area of life.  What would this world look like?  Nothing like it is now, I can assure you of that.  We wouldn't have a medical system siphoning off billions of dollars annually because people are trained to believe they are sick.  We wouldn't have endless wars killing our brothers, sisters, parents, and friends.  We wouldn't have garbage public education which amounts to little more than indoctrination into fear.

How to become more self aware?  Analyze your thoughts.  Where do they come from?  What motivates them?  Is it something that we thought of ourselves, or is it something that someone else *told us to believe*?  Come to think of it, is there an original thought running through our brains at all?  Or is it all just second-hand information from other slaves?  Meditate on this.  Meditate on your own thoughts and where they come from.  You'll discover that you have all the power in the world to institute change and create the reality YOU want, not what is *expected* of you from control systems.

That's the Matrix.
