AskSteem: What's your best SE Token invesment/trade?
Although I'm personally not as active with trading and investing in SE tokens, to be honest most of the new tokens starting out don't seem to have a lot of potential and don't seem as serious as some ICO's and other projects I am familiar with in the cryptospace, I realize there are many others that enjoy trading and investing in them. Not to be too negative, I think there are some really good ones out there, one I really like lately is creativecoin and appreciate what they are doing to keep the curation and rewarding as manual and botless as possible.

I don't own a lot of SE tokens right now as I sold most due to the low Steem price, but I'm looking forward to investing in some long term once the dust has settled and it has shown which ones are in it for the long haul and taking it seriously. Those looking to swapping for SMT's once they are released I will give a serious consideration to as well. One of the best trades that I can remember was buying PAL early on at 0.06 Steem each (think I purchased 500, not much but it was something) and then sold those 500 for about 0.45 steem each making that a 7.5x profit.

Other opinions I have about SE would be that I would like to see the deposit and withdrawal fee removed, 1% is a lot, even banks don't charge you that fee. Instead I would like to see some more utility to ENG where people are incentivized to hold it for reducing your trading fees and burning them when you trade on SE similar to how BNB works, then again I don't know what ENG's total supply is either, but yeah. I'm sure it will keep on improving over time and the creators listening to the community as that is one of Steem's strengths.

My favorite so far is LEO.  Not a lot of price action, but it seems like a potential long-term winner. Popular subject matter. Thoughtful planning of the tribe, and obvious efforts to address potential value over time.

My last post announced I will start analyzing these tokens in a [tokenvstoken](https://steemit.com/neoxian/@crypticat/token-vs-token) series based on a wide variety of data. SE has been around for a couple months and we can only begin to judge based on the information and history. 

Claiming you've made a good investment when you staked a token and haven't cashed out yet is foolish. A return can only be realized when you sell it, these could crash any day if a whale like @khaleelkazi sells all his stake.

That being said I've made hundreds of Steem flipping @steemspeak, as they were manipulating their token price buying it all up then dumping it all. Used those profits to buy other tokens and even powered up a bit after playing some cards. Definetely don't recomennd you buy any token for profit or to speculate on, buy them for fun and a sense of community😸

I agree. I also made hundreds of steem flipping steemspeak. Opportunity has died down now, but if you know what to look for another will popup.
As for engaging leo and stem are my favorites. I like some of the others but feel their token price is headed to oblivion (ex. sports) or they are basically a steem alt like bch to btc and may do well if they are careful (neoxian). Pal was interesting and imo it's not gonna survive.

If you look at volume vs. Value and then token distribution and reward distribution a dismal picture appears for the majority.

So far I received creative coins token and I traded it and got 60 Steem . The sell order price might have been low but I didn't spend anything on the token since I think it was airdropped to me when I was on holiday...at any rate I simply powered the proceeds up into my steemit account..

Check out the actifit tokens bro.  Not the AFIT token but the AFITX token on SE.  I bought a decent amount of them at 5 steem a piece and now they have climbed to 10 steem each.  Plus they actually have a use case and a community so they are wanted coins not just garbage.

LoL, no worries man it is a bit confusing to be honest.  But basically AFIT tokens are kind of locked up like Steem Power but it releases in a different manner.  So instead of 1/13 of your SP every week for 13 weeks AFIT allows you to power down 100 AFIT a day per AFITX.  It also helps your @actifit score on the DApp and the top 25 AFITX holders get big upvotes more regularly from @actifit, so that definitely keeps people buying them along with a limited supply.

These are both different than the AFIT-SE token that you can purchase on Steem-Engine.   As I am reading over this it is no wonder why you were confused! LoL.

 i like to buy and stake them then all. I then tell people to use all the tags on their blog so my curation rewards are better.

My best trade was steemspeak. I got called out for selling my pal and basically decided that most tribes are cults. I get the idea of POS, but liquidity is very important, too. What's the point in a 'coin' that isn't fungible?
Actually, that's why I bought a good deal of beer. If a token isn't mostly focused on it's economy it better be fun in itself, or you can just have a tag cause ur rewards are going to approach 0.

I don't know but I did buy something like 47 PAL for 47 Steem before the airdrop and after the airdrop (which I didn't know was happening) I could have bought something like 500 for the same price :D 

1% is a large amount, I don't know why it is so high - perhaps to incentivize not taking Steem out?

I think SE tokens are a completely different breed than what we are used to.  We are used to looking at most blockchains as providing a service or providing financial value - STEEM blockchain was built from the ground to be about content creation and curation - so any tokens built on its platform inherit that use case by design, and the core code of the tokens revolves around that same creation/curation principle.  

We could say the exact same thing about STEEM.. taken out of out of our condensers, what use case does STEEM have? ;)  It's not really supposed to be taken out of the condensers :P

Another though, people complain about the price of STEEM as if that is the only currency here - shouldn't SBD, which is pegged close to $1 as possible, be the real currency which we can take our of the condenser, trade for fiat or trade for STEEM to make SP? People care oh so much about STEEM when SBD should be the real star.  It's also scarcer to mint.

We just have to think of things differently over here.

Dear @acidyo, in steem-engine there is a bug, if you send any coins to not existing account, those coins disappear, not like in steemit where if you do it you got a transaction error, so even steemit giving a better service, now steem-engine having same value of steem and to me it seems not right as per service thay are giving, but steem is continuosly fall down, so steemians like me try to find a place where saving money, so this steem-engine is taking benefit of situation where Steem is out in the real market under pressure and this is the reason why now most users try to find a way to earn some profit instead seeing the steemit account value always falling down...:(((
