Who, exactly? I have a moderate amount of Steem Power, no intention of cashing out any time soon, and am thinking of taking advantage of this service to grow my Steem Power. Why do you think everyone who would use this would just cash out?

When you use yourself as an example and fail to look at the bigger picture. You are not serving yourself well. If you head over to steamdb you can study the actions of many whales. What you see is very alarming. As you and many others continue to invest and build your steem power. Those at the top are constantly taking their earnings elsewhere. The drop in steem value should be of concern. While you may think "cool, it's cheaper, i'll buy more"... you only serve those who are crashing the price by chasing out. Wake up man!
