The researchers name a total of 16 urgent problems. They call it a serious failure that the policy has been too little concerned with the issue. If nothing changes, problems with food supply, high prices and a lower quality are programmed. Health problems and damage to the ecosystem may also occur. They believe that more laws are needed to replace existing European regulations. They also face difficulties in quality standards, fish market quotas, and food import and export regulations.
