Yeah like 99% of all crypto works like that but people still trade and buy the hype. Not everyone knows what steem & steemit actually is until they get a little deeper into crypto. Like all projects also steemit isn't perfect and that's a fact. Looking forward to this months HF

3 second confirmation time with no transaction fees that alone says alot. Not to mentiom that you make money from bloging meet awesome new people in this large community. And with the SMT released in march 2019 steem will become somethig similar to ethereum with its erc20 tokens.
