Fascinating indeed! Some 20 years ago I bought my first Mathematica package to try to implement a geometrical dream of mine, inspired by the platonic solids. I was fascinated by the hybrid shapes from a sphere and a tetrahedron, for example, all of them fitting in a cube. I´ll look for it. I´ll post some pictures if I find them. The idea was the mathematical division of space with different shapes, any numbre of them. I made it in 2D, but I failed miserably in 3D. Now I know more maths, so I should look into it again. Thanks for the inspiration.
