[일상] 침으로 유전자 검사를
침으로 유전자 검사를 하는 제품이 꽤 있습니다.
이 중 가장 유명한 제품은 23 and me 입니다.

일단 이 제품은 침으로 조상의 인종에 대하여 알려주는데요. 그외에 건강 정보도 알려준다고 합니다. 이전에는 더 비싼 제품도 있었는데 지금은 검색이 안되는군요.

이런 DNA test 제품류가 상당히 많습니다. 앞으로 주목받는 산업이기도 하고요.
당연히 국내에서도 제품 개발을 하고 있었겠죠. 그 결과가 드디어 나왔군요.

주인공은 SKT·마크로젠·인바이츠가 함께 개발한 '케어8 DNA'입니다.  의외로 SKT가 공동 개발사인데요. 요즘 SKT가 여기 저기 많이 보이기는 합니다.

'케어8 DNA'는 고객의 침만으로 영양소·식습관 ·운동·건강관리·피부, 모발·개인특성 등 6개 영역의 총 29개 종류의 유전자 검사 결과를 알려주고 이를 보완할 수 있는 영양제와 운동법까지 소개해 준다고 하니 한번 해 보고 싶습니다.

앞으로 이와 유사한 기술이 계속 개발된다면 침으로 질병까지 진단할 수 있는 날이 올 것 같습니다.
