[일상] 종이컵은 재활용하지 말아야
종이컵은 내부에 코팅이 되어 있어서 물이 새지않습니다. 종이컵은 원래 일회용인데요. 한번 마시고 나면 멀쩡해보입니다. 그래서 다시 사용하는 경우가 많이있죠.

그런데 종이컵에 뜨거운 물이나 커피를  담은 경우에는 문제가 있는 것 같습니다.

인도 공대에서 실험한 결과를 보면 일회용 종이컵에 뜨거운 커피나 차를 담으면 대량의 미세 플라스틱이 음료에 녹아내리는 것으로 확인됐었다고 합니다.

음..  종이컵으로 커피를 자주 마시는 입장에서 상당히 당혹스러운 실험 결과입니다.

연구 내용을 보면 아래와 같은 내용이 나옵니다.

> 커피나 차를 마시는 15분 간 컵의 플라스틱 층이 퇴화하면서 2만5천개의 미크론 크기의 입자가 음료에 방출된다”

종이컵에 있는 미세프라스틱 흡수를 줄이려면 15분 이내 빨리 마셔야할 것 같습니다.
그런데 뜨거운 음료를 빨리 마시면 후두암 위험이 높아진다는 사실도 인지하셔야 합니다. 따라서 빨리 마시되, 식혀서 마셔야합니다. 

앞으로는 꼭 머그컵을 사용하여야 할 것 같습니다.
