Warning: Steem witnesses executed a hard fork on 2020-05-20, seizing 23.6M STEEM from 65 accounts. The funds were transferred to an account named @community321, the ownership (and intentions) of which have not been revealed. The witnesses claim to have been targeting accounts which defended against a hostile takeover in early March, but at least 2 accounts on the list have been inactive for over 4 years.

Day 34 of 100 Days Posting Challenge: "After Storm & Some Burt Talk"
Finally, we're seeing a much calmer sky. After the 2-day mess that the storm has brought us, the weather has stabilized and the electricity has resumed as well.

This is a photo that I just took a while ago. We were stuck in the house for almost 2 days and so we really appreciate being outside once again. I wanted to do some stretching and also walk our dog Kuku to prevent her from getting bored as well.

## Blurt-Talk

There is an important discussion that's happening right now ***~ mitigation of abuse.*** There are 2 posts that I would like to suggest for everyone to read:

Both of these posts are talking about the countermeasures that the Blurt Foundation is proposing. Both posts contain probable solutions to the current situation of Blurt in terms of rewards abuse or unacceptable behaviors here in Blurt.

All ideas mentioned are still rough and it's good that the Blurt community should get involve to polish them as possible.

Among all of the ideas mentioned, the ones that interest me the most are the implementation of Blockchain Moderators/Wardens. According to what I read, these Moderators/Wardens are appointed by the community in a similar fashion than of the Witnesses; stake-based voting.

They are Blurt Users that will be assigned with a specific role to actively scout for posts that shows signs of rewards abuse or misbehavior by author or voters.

Apparently, it requires more discussion and fine-tuning when it comes to the implementation. However, I believe that we are on the right track and it shows that the Blurt Foundation is aware of the issues and they are taking action about it.

That for me is more important than anything else.

## Blurt-On!
