<p><div class="text-center">

We must have known butterflies, and even we often see them in various places and flower gardens.

So on this occasion I will explain the differences between butterflies and moths.

###### <p><div class="text-center"> BUTTERFLY - BASED ON ACTIVITY </div></p>
We can distinguish butterflies from moths, one of which is based on their active time.

Butterflies are active during the day while moths are active at night.

The second difference is the resting time of the two insects.

Butterflies usually when resting or perching on various leaves or branches by holding their wings upwards, while moths always spread their wings when perching.

![IMG_20210611_004800.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmQirBi3GmmZ8UG6sbfPXAzoU88Vb5536BWBmS9RD6wM8A/IMG_20210611_004800.jpg)

And also butterflies usually have beautiful and brilliant colors while moths usually tend to be dark or plain, dull and gray.

Butterflies have many species and uniqueness and moths also have many species.

Butterflies are one of the insects that are harmless to humans because they do not have venomous toxins.

![IMG_20210611_004810.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmRsVu2cwsEYYRbzrMkhnRBtCFnH2hbg1nniYNtUTriPH2/IMG_20210611_004810.jpg)
<center>© 2021 @partner-macro. All Original Photo.</center>

Now I will explain about moths, although I don't have pictures of moths, but surely you already know moths.

Moths are one of the insects that are similar to and in fact closely related to butterflies.

If we look at moths, they are very similar to butterflies and the difference between them can be said only in terms of their names.

But in fact butterflies are part of a small group that emerges from the moth.

![IMG_20210611_004821.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmcHMpkX75MaPyLVVgWogn4XxUuv4Kt7EDHwtaEHPaWLQq/IMG_20210611_004821.jpg)
<center>© 2021 @partner-macro. All Original Photo.</center>

Although butterflies are more famous and more popular than moths because butterflies have a variety of beautiful and colorful wing patterns.

Moth wings are usually only brown in color making them less popular.

But in fact butterflies are outnumbered by moths, because there are more moths in the world than there are butterflies.

![IMG_20210611_004751.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmVPihWqEwN4peW6WNPHQ5ufaAZYjp2nBHfuJC5794tuex/IMG_20210611_004751.jpg)
<center>© 2021 @partner-macro. All Original Photo.</center>

Moths have the ability to disguise themselves.

Moths can say like an accomplished disguise.

Because the moth nation is one of the targets of various predators.

Therefore the nation desperately needs to have the ability to disguise itself and save itself.

![IMG_20210611_004740.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmaiU6VGPhoRDVqLVCKG6x1uboKhNumJDK9ZP9JDEkqmoj/IMG_20210611_004740.jpg)
<center>© 2021 @partner-macro. All Original Photo.</center>

Some species have the ability to masquerade as a wasp.

There is also like a tarantula and there is also like a praying mantis.

And there are also some moths that make their wings look like tree trunks and also maybe even like bird droppings.

###### <p><div class="text-center"> MOTH DIFFERENCE AND BUTTERFLIES </div></p>

As before moths and butterflies, that is, we can distinguish from one of them based on their active time.

Butterflies are active during the day while moths are active at night.

And also we can distinguish between butterflies and moths is the resting time of the two insects.

Butterflies are usually resting or perching on various leaves or branches by lifting their wings upwards, while moths always spread their wings when perched.

Moths are insects that are similar to and even closely related to butterflies.

Id we just glimpse moths, we would think that moths are butterflies, but they are both different even though they are somewhat similar to butterflies.

The difference between them could only be said from the name.

the moth could say like a perfect disguise

Because the moth nation is one of the targets of various other predators.

I can't tell you everything because I still don't know much about moths.

There may be errors in my posts and I am very sorry to all of you.

But I have tried to provide the information I know about moths, even if it's only slightly and maybe even less interesting.

I will try in the future to make it even more interesting.

I am @partner-macro, very sorry if there are errors and I ask for guidance from all of you.

So that I can work more in Steemit and in the word of xpilar community.

I greet all of you and I wish you all good health and always be successful in all your activities. </div></p>
