The Corona virus is invading my thoughts!

No, don't worry, not really, but if you don't hear and read anything else all day long but this worldwide catastrophe . . .

Of course many people are worried about their own health, their job, the many suffering companies and all the things that are connected with it. How should things continue for many people . . . after overcoming the crisis? Because one thing is also certain for me: things will start to improve again, but who and how many will be left behind?

I, as well, am worried about the health of so many people, not so much for myself but for my dear mother, who is fully part of the high-risk group. Fortunately, I manage that she does not panic and behaves as calmly and reasonably as is expected of all of us at this time.

In icy cold wind I went for a walk for 1 1/2 hours today and spent the time with a podcast about an astronomy episode of the Austrian astronomer Florian Freistetter.

Nice moments to banish this virus from my brain!

Der Corona Virus frisst sich in meine Gedanken!
Nein, keine Sorgen, nicht wirklich, aber wenn man den ganzen Tag nichts anderes mehr hört und liest als diese weltumspannende Katastrophe . . .

Natürlich sind viele besorgt um die eigene Gesundheit, den Beruf, die vielen notleidenden Unternehmen und all die Dinge, die damit verbunden sind. Wie soll es für viele weitergehen . . . nach der Krise? Denn eines ist für mich auch sicher: es gibt ein danach und es wird wieder aufwärts gehen, aber wer und wie viele bleiben auf der Strecke?

Auch ich mache mir Sorgen um die Gesundheit, weniger um mich, als um meine liebe Mutter, die voll in der höchsten Risikogruppe drinsteckt. Zum Glück schaffe ich es, dass sie nicht in Panik gerät und sich so besonnen und vernünftig verhält, wie es von uns allen in dieser Zeit erwartet wird.

In eisig-kaltem Wind ging ich heute 1 1/2 Std. lang spazieren und vertrieb mir die Zeit mit einem Podcast über eine Astronomie Folge des österreichischen Astronoms Florian Freistetter.

Schöne Momente um diesen Virus aus meinem Hirn zu verbannen!

Ich danke dir, auch dir alles liebe! Ja, alles wird gut und vielleicht letztendlich besser. Es kann generell nicht so weitergehen mit dem "schneller, höher, weiter, mehr, immer besser" und der Illusion von unbegrenztem Wachstum und dem unverantwortlichen Verbrauch von Ressourcen, die auf der Erde nun mal begrenzt sind. Vielleicht ist der Virus die Art und Weise, wie sich die Natur dagegen wehrt.
