How to remove any virus from your smartphone
Recently, Google removed the popular **CamScanne**r PDF Creator app, which has been downloaded more than a million times from the Google Play store, as the app was delivering malware to users' smartphones.

Unfortunately, when it comes to mobile malware, Android phones have questionable differences in whether or not they contain malware, there is also the possibility that malware can be anything from popup ad delivery services to sophisticated mobile spyware that can be hacked. Allows you to spy on your every action.

So if you believe that your phone has a virus (5 symptoms are also mentioned below), then you can definitely take these steps to remove it-

## 1) Uninstall any suspicious apps from your mobile:

If you see an app on your mobile that you don't remember when it was installed, then it can be a red signal.

Also other apps, especially free apps from small developers, may contain adware. So if you see apps that you don't need, uninstall them immediately, just to be safe.

To uninstall the application, usually go through this route on every phone -

Settings -> Apps or Apps and Notifications -> All Apps

And then tap on the apps that are suspicious.

You should now see an Uninstall button, which may be enough to remove the malware.

However, if the uninstall button is removed, the app can get admin access, which will make it difficult to remove.

In this situation,

Go to Settings -> Security & location -> Advanced -> Device admin apps.

Check here if any app has access to this list. If yes, you can tap on the app to disable it, which should allow you to uninstall it from the Apps & notifications menu.

## 2) Scan through an antivirus app

The most definitive means of verifying malware on a device is to run an antivirus scan. Mobile antivirus can automatically scan downloads and warn you about apps that can leak your personal information, allow pop-up advertisements on your device, or reduce the battery life of your phone can do.

Major security software providers like Kaspersky, Avast, Norton and AVG also have Android apps, some of which cost money, but usually all offer a free option. You can download any of these apps, just don't download some low-ranked security apps from Google Play, many of these apps do nothing but create their own security issues.

Go to your antivirus app and select a scan, which then do not mark the exact app that is threatening your device. You may be able to remove malware directly from the app, or you may need to manually uninstall it.

If the first security app scans nothing, you can download another antimalware app and scan it, as I have seen that these security programs may be different in the virus app they detect.

(It is worth noting that antivirus apps can consume a lot of phone battery, especially if you always enable the scan feature.)

## 3) Reset your phone to Factory reset

If even after uninstalling a suspicious application, your phone is experiencing annoying pop-up messages, you may need to take the atomic option to factory reset, which will clear the entire phone with data from your phone's internal memory will give.

Before performing this step, make sure that you have backed up your phone's photos and media, and any messages you want to save.

after this,

Tap Settings -> System -> Advanced -> Reset options -> Erase all data.

## 4) Stop the malware from re-installing

Once your phone is cleaned of malware, it would be good to be careful of what you download and where you download it. Always download applications from Google Play or other reliable sources and download only the apps you really need and are safe - however, keep a close eye on whether you're actually downloading that popular game. Which you had read about, or it is just a clever fake app of that app.

Fake apps on Google Play can fool you! How will you recognize them?

## Symptoms - Your Android phone is infected with Malware

While your phone may display obvious signs of a malware infection, often, malicious applications remain inactive on the phone. Instead, the damage appears as a charge on your bank card or phone bill with an unusually high data charge.

"Everyday users usually don't see anything wrong on their phones, until it's too late, because malware is difficult to detect with open eyes, especially in the case of sophisticated malware, for example, They can hide SMS notifications or work on your device at the same time as it is charging (so that your attention is not paid to it).

* **1) Low battery life**:

If you inadvertently download a cryptocurrency minor, it is likely that your phone's battery life will end much faster than normal. However there can be many other reasons for Android battery drain.

* **2) Phone becomes slower:**

Malware that is constantly sending information to its owner can stop the processing power of your phone, resulting in slowing its normal performance.

* **3) Higher data usage:**

Similarly, it also consumes a lot of data to secretly send all the information of your phone to its owner.

So check in your settings how much data you are consuming in months. If it is more than normal, it can be a sign of malware.

* **4) Getting suspicious notifications from banks and unknown services:**

If banking malware steals your details, it can result in your bank - or any other financial institution - notifying you of charges or new accounts opened in your name. SMS Malware can only send you information about the fees paid by you and can also appear in premium text services.

* **5) Pop up ads:**

Do you see a lot of pop-ups while browsing the web on mobile? Then you must have been infected with adware. Popups can mean that malware has installed itself within the OS and is a trigger for popups based on common methods that users will operate their phones. The idea is to add users that they are most likely to click on an ad or offer, with the ability to download any other bitware causing more damage to their device or data.
