Warning: Steem witnesses executed a hard fork on 2020-05-20, seizing 23.6M STEEM from 65 accounts. The funds were transferred to an account named @community321, the ownership (and intentions) of which have not been revealed. The witnesses claim to have been targeting accounts which defended against a hostile takeover in early March, but at least 2 accounts on the list have been inactive for over 4 years.

'Bigfeet' - Original Music - Throwback to a Few Years Ago - Electronic/Instrumental

## I have some new, and previously shared,
tracks and ideas that I'm going to work on for the next few days, but I didn't have anything that I felt was interesting enough to share today, so we're gonna have a Throwback Tuesday, lol. Until October of last year, I was using Ableton 9, and a very old version of it, for a couple of years. My friend Anthony had Ableton four or five years ago, and we lived next door to each other, so I first learned about it there, then downloaded my own copy as I wanted to be able to write when he wasn't around. Over the years I slowly downloaded new instruments and plug-ins, but until recently, didn't really focus on trying to expand my sound library, so I was working with a bit of a limited selection.

## I think having fewer choices was a good
thing initially, as it forced me to learn how to use some tools in Ableton to alter sounds, and build layers of effects, just so I didn't feel like I was using the same instruments, day in and day out. I don't even remember writing this song; I was listening through an old Soundcloud today to find a throwback song, and this came on, and I was very confused as it sounded like something completely new, lol. I think it isn't mixed too well; the low-end on the bass/synth thing is just too much, and drowns things out, but I do like the general idea, and think that maybe in the future, it would be fun to revisit and mix it properly, with all the tools I have access to these days.

## Hope you enjoy the throwback! Thanks for listening!
