For whatever reason, I've gone back to drawing more surreal pieces. Let me know if you like them or hate them or if they bore you to death.
This last one is a self-portrait.
Okay steemian's, after two days I did not leave any posts, today I come back with my new engraving.
This time I carved a floral motif patterned curved and tendrils which is a typical motif carved in Aceh.
My older post about carvings
-Simple flower carvings, stylized jasmine flowers
-The beauty Acehnese Minbar (pulpit mosque)
-Tulak Angen, legacy of the tradition of art
-From stone carving into wood carving
-My wood carving - calligraphy ornament on the minbar (Mosque pulpit)
I made this original and unique painting in the last few days.
And completed it today.
Behind the scene:
Last week, I showed how I took the Sigils I had made and made them into flour-salt-water clay Talismans...
After baking them for a very long time, I discovered that the clay is still very fragile, so I decided to mount the Talismans on wood, and make the piece into artwork that I will hang on the wall and look at.
I spent the last several days painting the talismans and wood with oil paint,
I then decided to guild the edges of the sigils with
gold leaf paint to bring out the original drawings...
This is the
finished project so far, although I doubt I am finished with it...
And here is the first Talisman I made - I mounted it to wood, as well, painted with copper metalic latex and drew around it with Sharpie.
Now these will definitely be ready for my New Moon ceremony on Friday...
I have made about 15 more new sigils as well which I will share soon... I feel like these might be subjects of some new art pieces.

I love drawing and I'd like to share my knowledge to people.
I call it SoulDoodle, because my hand is driven by my soul. It's a form of active meditation, an internal travel that makes joy and peace. The SoulDoodle workshop is currently under development. I used to test the new excersizes on people so that I can see it works or not. This is free for anybody yet by the time it is developing, but accept small amounts for donation to buy material and equipment.

Hyena men on Giant Chameleons, yep, that's pretty astonishing I'd say. At least in the sense that is not an everyday occurrence. Well, maybe in some corners of Hyperborea. But that is what I love about this wacky campaign setting. I love the strange creatures, the exotic locales and the mixture of sorcery and technology. It really is great fun. I'm wrapping up some art on the Hardcover edition of the game which has a few new character classes and is going to have tons of new art from myself and many other talented artists. I mean, take a look as this cover for the book by Charles Lang (gorgeous huh?):
If that doesn't get you fired up for some old school gaming action, I don't know what will. Happy gaming!
가을 - Autumn painted by Yejin
I climbed in bed to write a rhyme,
For Hopehuggs comp, a scribbled line.
To write about where I was at,
I searched for post with fluffy cat.
All prepared to self indulge,
To the abyss I would divulge.
To find the words that would connect,
To share aspects of my affect.
I discovered that I was too late,
Once again I'd missed the date.
Then I see the floral crown of hope,
Is sitting slightly on a slope.
The source of all that love and colour,
Who always shines upon another.
Hopehuggs cyber pal of mine,
On Steemit everyday you shine.
Sharing as you did today,
Helped me through my own malaise.
When you run your next contest,
From my wallet prizes I bequest.
Take care fine lady and remember,
You'll blaze again from smallest ember.
