This is an illustration I did some time ago.
I'm not good at writing words.
The extended title of this illustration is: "A perpetual state of longing".
If the story was ever written it would contain topics like: love, loneliness, patience, hope, desire.
Captured moments of pure happiness using colored pencils!
So it is time for a new How To Draw video!
This time i also managed to find something i have not been drawing before, not even with charcoal and not on video!
This just might be one of the cutest sketches i have ever made!! Actually this took me about 30 minutes, so i will not have to spend a lot of time editing this. I think maybe in my next post already i will be able to publish it.
I think this will be a very interesting video, since i recently started to draw more detailed sketches, and the whole body and the face, not just an eye, or some minimalism works. I think drawings like these are more interesting to see, how they are developing.
I included a link to my verification post, that all of the drawings posted here are done by me: https://steemit.com/art/@edgarsart/edgarsart-original-art-now-verified
(23-1-08) Another portrait of the same person, continues the practice.
(23-1-08) It is a portrait of a friend of a friend. From my time when I made pencil portraits
Been wrapping around my head to write some meaningful words about this drawing of mine, it's a very profound one i did in my 20's, it meant a lot to me. But instead of writing what i felt about it, while doing it, and what it meant, i would like to challenge those of you willing, to write your own view, the impact it has on you, the story, feelings, whatever, i leave it all for you to explore :) let's do this?
Looking forward, this is very exciting, as newcomer, to finally find a
place where I can share my work among a more free, sensible and open minded community (hope i'm not wrong)
For a 3/4 size guitar, it's not terrible. After a good thirty minutes of playing, I gotta retune the beast; the A string especially.
Officially, I don't play guitar. I have yet to master a chord. But I can pick a tune on it just fine.
But it was a blank canvas, begging for color. So I complied with the guitar's unspoken wish to be a peacock incarnate.
I can't draw peacocks, so I doodled. Found out sharpie can get wiped off pretty easy, too. So, did sharpie outlines and then covered it with clear nail polish. And used regular nail polish to help augment color. Once dry, it doesn't migrate like sharpie.
This is a Norse Vegvisir; it's used to invoke a sense of direction when one feel
This drawing was a quick practice, I did not do much detail to the pelage but I liked the final result of the eyes, I used color pencils primacolor.
Este dibujo fue una práctica rápida, no hice mucho detalle al pelage pero me gustó el resultado final de los ojos, usé lápices de color primacolor.
