***I recently had the pleasure of speaking again with Chance at the @innerverse podcast and this time we covered the [whistleblower series](https://steemit.com/whisteleblowers/@ura-soul/the-whistleblowers-series-36-i-found-solid-proof-of-toxic-chemtrails-programs-kirsten-meghan-us-military-safety-specialist) that I have had running on Steem for the last couple of years. It's such a huge subject, this is really only part 1...*** https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5987d897cf81e0278ec5322e/5c356c00758d4661a0daba01/5c98dd39ee6eb05e1df03603/1553537813071/126.jpg?format=1500w There are so many important and often professional whistleblowers from many fields that go totally unreported on (blacked out) in mainstream media, that I feel this is one of the most essential topics for people to get up to speed with. Many speakers explain from direct experience how, for example, the pharmaceutical industries primarily operate through fraud, bribery and deception and how the military and government are responsible for a great many of the crimes that they blame on terrorists. These are not wild theories generated by paranoid individuals, they are claims put forward, with evidence, by people who were there - working in the organisations involved - at the time of the events they are describing. Often, they have been persecuted as a result of their attempt to expose the situation, with several having been sent to jail unjustly, drugged, threatened and most likely in at least one case also murdered. I highly recommend checking out the series, which is now well over 30 posts on Steem - plus you can definitely listen to our conversation here too. It's always a challenge to fit so much information into even a couple of hours and it just isn't possible to cover all the twists and turns involved.  A friend showed me a cool picture he had taken, so I decided to fuck it up with some crazy digital edits. Links to the apps I used will be at the bottom. I did this all on my iPhone 7. ### Here's the starting photo. I screenshotted it from instagram.  #### Next I cropped it and made some adjustments in Photoshop.  #### Next comes to the fun part, the kaleidoscope app.   #### I took the second image from kaledeiscoping and put it into GlitchΓ©, an amaaaazing photo editing app. I did several processes and wound up here:   #### I took these two pictures and the first KaleidaCam image, the red star, and layered them through the Photoshop Mix app. But first I turned the red star green using Photoshop Express.   #### Then I tweaked colors and added a cool border using PhotoToaster. The text you see in the final product up top was added with an app called R4VE (amazing program that does much more than text).  ___ So that's it. I don't know any other artists that work this way but it's simple and really fun. I encourage you to experiment with the power of your smart phone and the insane number of photo editing apps available, many of which are free or very cheap. Have fun! You might remember what your own migration process was like. For me, Facebook used to steal a big chunk of my energy on a daily basis just through my repetitive "checking" of my notifications. I am curious to see if I develop the same type of easily distracted no-tick-ifications (is that a bad play on words?) by using steemit. I'm done with it, and plan to schedule my visits to that dark place on a once a week (or less) basis. And all future content I generate will originate here.<br> <br> The mindfulness part of this post is simple. Every time that I think of checking facebook, feel that familiar instagram itch, or something like it, I will return to this post and note what I am feeling in the comments. If I feel the need to post something more substantial, I'll link to it in the comments with my mind-check update.
