A student of mine agreed to pay me in crypto recently. Last night she finally got some Bitcoin in her wallet, enough for 10 classes and then about the same amount as her very first crypto investment. She was pretty excited. I had told her a few weeks ago to try a small transaction first in order to make sure she knew what she was doing, but the movement in the market distracted her. She happily asked for my wallet address, telling me she'd be ending me extra in USD value because BTC had risen during the day. She tried sending it to me and her Jaxx Wallet asked for a PIN. "What's my PIN number?" "How am I supposed to know your PIN number?" "I can't remember setting a PIN number...did I? "Did you?" I frantically searched online to see if anyone else had seen a prompt for a PIN without setting one. No one seemed to have had this problem. So it had to be a bug or she set a PIN and forgot. "I tried all my usual passwords...nothing" "Oh man....well there are 9999 possible combinations..." We searched online for answers and found none because she did not bother to write down her 12 word phrase as I had recommended. So between her investment and my payment, that $800 (now over $1000, who knows how much) Bitcoin potentially lost forever. I can only hope that it's not a bug and that she just forgot her PIN and that Jaxx Liberty Wallet let's you keep guessing your PIN until you get it right, then she just needs to try 9999 times. If it's a bug or if there is a limit then it seems the money is really gone. This is why it's super important not to push people to get into crypto and instead prepare them for what they are getting themselves into. She's really upset right now and says she's only going to trust a bank or exchange with xrypto in the future....which ideally is the opposite of how I hope that she would feel. I told her that if she tries 9999 combinations and they don't work, not to stress herself out, that I'd share the burden and give her these ten classes half price and pay whenever she wants. If I was doing better than she was financially I'd tell her to forget about payment altogether. I should have sent her a small amount of Bitcoin first for her to play with. I think that is the kind of precaution we need to take when onboarding new people into crypto. I sure hope she remembers having seta PIN and can get the money cause a few hundred extra in crypto would sure be nice right now, as the markets are moving. Be cautious guys! Investors are today seeking to withdraw their crypto following the Jan 3rd PROOF OF KEYS movement. I have been using a JAXX wallet for several months, and I can say they are very good with security and customer service too. I hear a lot of people suggesting hardware wallets, but you can use a Jaxx Wallet for free, and it is very safe as well. Researchers from the risky company Flashpoint have managed to identify and suspend a website that was going through the official page of Jaxx cryptocurrency wallet; the URL was similar to the official page and the objective was to spread a malware that had as purpose to empty the Wallets of the users of Jaxx. Recuerda que en caso de equivocarte, no hay una oficina de quejas o de atención a clientes, !lo que entra, ya no sale! 6. Para enviar criptomonedas, se sigue el mismo proceso, sin embargo, debes de presionar el botón de Send (enviar) y necesitas la dirección o el código del otro usuario. JAXX의 빠른 설정 / 사용자 지정 설정을 선택하는 화면입니다. 빠른 설정으로 선택한 후, 추후 메인메뉴에서 백업을 위한 PIN번호/보안문자 설정이 가능합니다.  JAXX에서 사용할 코인을 선택하는 화면이 나옵니다. 클릭하고 계속 진행합니다.  지갑이 잘 만들어졌습니다. 1~4번 항목을 확인해봅니다. 메인메뉴에서 Receive(수취)와 Send(송금) 버튼을 클릭 후, 상대방의 지갑주소 및 Amount(금액)을 입력하면 송금이 가능하기 때문에 굉장히 간단하게 이용할 수 있습니다.  메인메뉴에서 三 모양을 클릭하면 지갑에 관한 설정을 할 수 있습니다.   [주요내용] - MENU - TOOLS에서는 지갑의 백업 보안문자 설정 / 다른 지갑의 보안 문자를 등록하여 지갑 변경 설정이 가능 - MENU - SETTINGS에서는 지갑의 핀번호 설정 / 지갑의 리셋 / BTC 출금 수수료 설정이 가능 - WALLETS에서 지갑을 추가하거나 제거 기능 - CURRENCY에서 표시될 통화를 변경 기능 [입금하기]   [출금하기]  어려운 것 같지만 충분히 따라오실 수 있는 JAXX 지갑의 설명이었습니다. 즐거운하루되세요!
