Remember that money is the means, not the meaning.
Own it but don't let it own you.
Being an Introvert or an Extrovert has to do with age, time and place and not about some intrinsic quality about ourselves. Our ass being glued on a chair, playing games days on end does not suggest introversion. Finding ourselves in college and being more outgoing in parties does not suggest extroversion. Situations enable a cocktail of behaviors, not the other way around.
No single person is either an introvert or an extrovert. No one can safely assume how much extroversion or introversion is adequate to safely label someone as such. Psychology, much like with everything else it mumbles about, assumes that the
average behavior is the
normal one. This hypothesis is erroneous. What is
average when it comes to something as complex and dynamic as human behavior, is a statistic
I was so very sad to hear about Chris and recently Chester who's white wolfs lost the fight. This had me look inside myself and see how are my wolfs, and if the white one is getting what he needs to be strong.
Lets care for the white wolf inside us, but let me start from the beginning.
There is this old Cherokee Indian story about 2 wolfs living inside each and every one of us. And this story is told many ways which just tells us how alive the story still is. I can also see the second chapter of this story that is writing itself nowadays.
A group of Cherokee children were listening one of the older man from the village telling them a story how in every one of us there are two wolfs living, and constantly fighting each other.
The white wolf that is feed by hope, love, compassi
I'm always wondering why the majority of people like to keep chasing happiness even thought the route to happiness isn't difficult but when we make our happiness dependent of certain amount of money or fame then happiness will still elusive have you ever ask yourself What is the definition of happiness? Why do some people seem to have the secret to happiness, while others struggling ? we all do happiness is found in the present moment not in our dreams of the future , why some of us tend to ruin the pleasure of the moment only because its not satisfy our imagination. why we keep live in our dreams .
When we feel like victims of our own negative thoughts then how can we expect to be happy !! To row happiness we need to sow positive thoughts we need to stop wishing what w

DO NOT EVER LET ANYTHING HOLD YOU BACK!

I'm a terrible sleeper. My wife says it's because I don't breath properly at night. Sometimes I wonder if it was that baseball bat that hit
my nose when I was 8 years old. Maybe it pushed something in?
In any case she wants me to see a doctor and get it fixed. I donno how easily it can be done, but what I do know is I have been feeling like shit every morning since.
I wake up drained as if I didn't sleep all night. I could have been sleeping 11 hours and it would be the same. By the time I hit my second cup of coffee I'm back to my peppy self. However during the interim I'm just not a happy camper.
So I'm feeling better right now drinking my cup cup of joe; and it got me thinking. I wondered what it takes to wake up happy if you feel like crap in the morning.
Well for one I have instituted thankin
Being a rather deep thinker, I realized early on that the human population can largely be divided into 2 types, those who derive meaning from their work and those who pursue the pleasures in life. Of course this is a gross generalization and I do believe that we each fall with the broad spectrum of these two extremes, but I think that there is a truth behind this. Each person's values seem to lean toward direction or another.
As I grew older and begun Learning philosophy (at my dad's behest,) I stumbled across the concepts of Stoicism vs. Epicureanism, which confirmed my earlier understanding of the world.
I have since become a self-identified Stoic as I naturally can forgo pleasure and fight through pain to achieve the results I want. In essence, Stoics live to work. I believe that being indifferent to my internal emotions and submitting to Natural Law is a high virtue to reach for!
This is a philosophy t

All of us have a sense of 'I' ness if we can call it that. Or in simpler terms we call it 'Ego' or 'Self'
A basic sense of individuality, a healthy sense of self or ego is absolutely necessary for day-to-day transactional purposes but the problem begins when the individual starts over-rating the ego and thus inflates the importance of oneself.
This is egotism. The dictionary.com website describes the word as:
excessive and objectionable reference to oneself in conversation or writing; conceit; boastfulness.
Among other definitions, the merriam-webster.com website defines 'Egotism' as:
an exaggerated sense of self-importance
Most human conflicts stem from egotism. While self-respect is important to ensure that we don't end up as door-mats, we need to guard against extending the healthy sense of self-respect into an egotistic zone.
Now shifting the focus from the mundane to the cosmos, I would like to use the following Youtube video to give a sense of size and where we figure in the larger scheme of
A son took his very old Father to one of the best restaurant's in the city for an evening dinner. His Father being very weak and old, while eating food, dropped some food on his shirt & Trouser.Other Diners were watching them both in disgust while his son was seem to be very relaxed and calm at that moment.
After when they both finished eating.his son who was very relaxed and Calm was not at all embarrassed, gently and quietly took his father to wash room, wiped the food particles which had fallen on his father shirt and trousers, removed all the stains, combed his hair too and put his spectacles back.
when they came out of the wash room whole restaurant was watching them in pin drop silence like something very strange happened, not able to grasp how someone could embarrass himself publicly in that manner.
The son paid the Bill and started walking out of the Restaurant after finishing eating and settling down every
A young boy was sitting on the stairs in front of the door to the house that he lived in. The sun shone on his dark blond hair, cut in a bowl shape. The look on his face was concentrated, he was flicking his yoyo away, towards the street, where at this moment none of his friends were to be seen, and back to himself.
He knew different ways to do it, and was practicing to learn a few more that he had seen others do and even one way that he had come up by himself, to impress his friends. He was glad no one was watching him right then, 'cause he made quite a few blunders, his mother who was looking at him from the kitchen window, while doing the dishes, didn't count, of course.
Shoot! Well that was definitely a big fat blunder! And now he couldn't bring the yoyo back up again, now he'd have to wind it all back around by hand, that was humiliating! He hoped that wouldn't happen when his friends were
Do you know what it means to learn?
When you are really learning you are learning throughout your life and there is no one special teacher to learn from.
Or do you prefer to think that when the student is ready a special teacher will appear?
But I feel everything has the potential to teach and learn.
You learn from everything, therefore there is no guide, no philosopher, no guru.
Life itself is your teacher, and you are in a state of constant learning.
To be a real student is to learn all the time and that's what I try my best to do and of course it's a challenge to learn from mistakes, to grow from setbacks and to be open and allowing to learn from anyone at any time in any situation.
How about you?
Are a real student in this regard?
Thank you for reading this post because I hope it is helpful for you to think yourself as a student of life in order to keep learning and growing.

People don't realising that they getting old until the first time someone call them Ser or Madam. It's the time when a youngest person calls you like that and a little pain slaughts your heart. The first two minutes are difficult and you wander am I looking so old; ;; After that you start to use the idea and smiling for the memories you have collected all this time. Its nice to grow up. Defently you have more responcibilities but you see the world from an other perspective.
I like a lot to speak with older people. They have stories from other times. Every single one of them has his story.
Idеntify your nеgativе thoughts. This is onе of thе most important things. Your nеgativе thoughts might sound likе this:
I can't do that,
I will surеly fail,
no onе wants to hеar what I havе to say. This innеr voicе is pеssimistic and unhеlpful and will hold you back from achiеving your goals and grеatеr sеlf-confidеncе.
Turn your nеgativе thoughts to positivе thoughts. As you pay attеntion to your nеgativе thoughts, turn thеm around to positivе thoughts. This may takе thе form of positivе affirmations, such as
I am going to try it,
I can bе succеssful if I work at it, or
pеoplе will listеn to mе. Start with just a fеw positivе thoughts a day.
Rеfusе to allow nеgativе thoughts to occur morе oftеn than positivе thoughts. Еvеntually, you
About 15 years ago there was the phenomena of the Red Had Societies. It seemed like every woman over 60 was joining. The clubs were based on a poem which began,
When I am old, I shall wear purple/With a red hat. It went on to detail how the poet was going to learn to spit and do other things she'd repressed herself from doing out of fear of Polite Society. She was going to be unique and not care what anyone else thought about it.
Charmed and intrigued by the idea of such freedom, older women began banding together so they could share in the vision of unique eccentricity. Their uniform was stated in the rules of their societies: everyone had to wear purple dresses and red hats...unless you were under 60, at which point you needed to wear laven
Some people asserts that our school system should reward creativity and risk taking instead of studiousness and abstract thinking. This is a reasonable suggestion, after all creativity and risk taking are at the core of innovations and outside the box thinking - two valuable assets in today's society. One can then ask himself why creativity-centered schools do not exist.
I do not think the answer resides in our school system or its members since most of the teachers agree that creativity is a very important skill. It is more deeply rooted than that. First of all, one could argue that creativity is a skill that can not be taught, since teaching is presenting well-known ideas while creativity is all about going beyond those concepts to find new and unique ideas. This is why a creativity-centered school could turn out to be ineffective.
Furthermore, creativity is a slow and unreliable process which makes it particularly tricky to evaluate reliably. In fac
