Steem doesn't seem like a place populated by workout nerds, but I did a little digging and found the Steemfit tag, woohoo!
After reading through that post by @mrs.steemit and realizing that @sirwinchester follows boxing and has a dance class, @acromott is into acro yoga, @eric-boucher is definitely into health, and @kevinwong is yet another dancer, I figured, hey, maybe some Steemers ARE into a healthy lifestyle and not just living in data-world.
With that in mind, I figured I might be able to spark some ideas for your next workout.
Fitness routines become too, well, routine for a lot of people. Having been a worker-outer and a driven creative my whole life, I've had to push way past the old
sets & reps mentality and into activities both challenging and fun. Here's one way I've found to kick it up a notch:

RE: I've always been a sports lover, I dance and go to the gym to workout and take some yoga classes. However there are times when your time seems more limited and you start to loose a healthy balance between BODY - BRAIN - SOUL The daily feeding of all three areas is essential in order to maintain a happy and healthy life and the key to achieve a good balance lays in the time-management of your daily routine. I found out that a lot of people struggle with efficiency in terms of a healthy lifestyle balance, which is why I decided to create:
Optimum health requires the mind, physical body and spirit to be in balance.

If you haven’t ever thought about grabbing a bunch of dill and tossing it in your juicer or blender, I challenge you to go for it! Dill is a tasty green herb the Ancient Greeks called the fragrant one and its fragrance still permeates most Greek islands today.
You should challenge yourself to work with dill because not only does dill taste amazing in juices and smoothies but its also super healthy for you. Dill helps detox your body while replenishing it with vitamin C and and manganese.
Oh Baby Dill
1/2 cup green grapes with seeds

I'm officially bringing back SteemFit right before the New Year! In previous episodes of SteemFit, I introduced you to different parts of a healthy lifestyle, here is a quick recap:
RE: I've always been a sports lover, I dance and go

MAYBE YOU SHOULDN'T EAT FRUIT..
KNOW WHAT YOU CAN AND CANNOT EAT!
Before I go into the recipe part I have a highly important tip for you. There are a lot of "healthy options" out there, but not all of us are the same, digest the same. We have different bodies and I recommend checking with an allergist what your body can and cannot digest easily.
For the longest time I thought eating a lot of fruits and little to no sugar in other products is good for me. I really love all kinds of fruit and so I started making a lot of smoothies and for about a month drank smoothie every morning on an empty stomach. However I constantly felt bloated, swollen, unhealthy, unhappy and I didn't know why. I tried cutting calories, ate little to nothing and drank more smoothies. I felt worse, so I decided to go to the doctor, explained my sym
A Push Up Master can complete 100 Push Ups without any effort. Like a military boot camp!

I had a friend who went to prison for a year! who returned super fit. Big muscles all over his body, which he loved to show off at the beach. I asked how him one day
How you do it. Did they have a good gym in jail. (He told me no!) Then how? He looked at me and said in prison there are no fitness gyms like the movies.
They don't want the inmates getting bigger than the guards. After all you got time to work out 24-7 and the guards don't. What else are we going to do with our time! So I did nothing but Push Ups & sit ups.
If you don't have weigh use your own body as the weigh.
You should be able to move your body weigh with no problems. I weigh around 180 l
Start your day right and keep your balance throughout the day. I love to start my day with a quick yoga session. Sun Salutation or Surya Namaskar is basic yoga, a sequence of 12 poses, preferably performed at the time of sunrise on an empty stomach. In the morning it revitalizes the body, refreshes your mind and gets you ready for a busy day where you need a clear mind. Each pose has a different meaning and is meant to be performed in the direction of the sun, to establish a grounding relationship with the sun based on gratitude towards life.
There are different severity levels to Surya Namaskar. If you've been practicing yoga for some time you are probably familiar with sun salutations. For beginners, to whom I also count myself, I suggest to start with Surya Namaskar A, which I will teach you in this post.
If you’ve become a Steemit addict I already know you’re on your laptop/phone all day long. Then you might have a job or even run a business, where you again sit for hours and your brain needs to function at a high level.
Some days are better than others, on some days you feel good with a clear mind, but then on others you feel drained, lack energy, can't focus for long, which sets you in a bad mood and on top of that you get bad headaches and feel back pain.
When your body isn't feeling well, your mind isn't either and the other way around. The two are connected and I know this sounds obvious but it happens to the best of us, that you sometimes are so focused on your work life that you forget to take care of your health, your well-being, your inner peace and happiness. I remember times when I was working all day long and when my mom asked me what I had for breakfast I didn't remember.
I've always been a sports lover, started dance classes from an early age on and for 2 years
Introducing: Steem.fit = Physical Benefits, Visual Experiences, & Digital Rewards
Steem.fit is an interactive incentive based application, allowing active users to receive physical benefits, visual experiences, and digital rewards. Building an interactive incentivized application on top of steemit, would provide a solution for users to physically interact with block-chain technologies and offer another on-ramp which is appealing to new users. To help bridge the gap of interacting with the physical word to real results in the digital realm. An incentive application like this could help simplify use case seniors for people that aren’t sure how they could use or benefit from block-chain based technologies. <a href=
