When I was a teenager in Germany a long, long time ago, I met a boy who came from England and the two of us got high together
... not on drugs mind you, but on words.
We talked endlessly about heaven and earth, and everything in between, speculating wildly about the deepest realms of the soul and the farthest ones of the universe, about current politics and wider much older philosophies. We listened to each other and together we spun a web of thoughts and ideas just for the pure joy of doing so. It was exhilarating.
It lasted for three weeks and then my friend moved on. He was on his way to India. We didn't stay in contact.
Since then I've never met anyone with whom I could have a similar experience. The people around me are matter of fact. They're not much for speculating about anything. They accept the world as it is presented to us and religion as it is taught.
And if I wanted to be
So, I get up this morning as I do most mornings. Put on the coffee, fed my loyal, loving fur babies and settled back in front of my computer to see what was new overnight.
I stopped by some of the Steemit.chat channels I follow to see what was up overnight. Took a peak into Steemspeak, turned on the speakers so I could hear if there was any chat going on and scanned down some of the text chat. Okay, caught up, time to get my coffee.
Coffee in hand, it was now time to have a look at my Steemit blog page. Fi
This is a well known fact. Especially if we do not learn from our past?!
Meanwhile I strongly doubt that, for I think that some developments have to be gone through before it is possible to go further in evolution. (if you are interested in that matter you should read Ken Wilber and his Integral Approach. I found a nice summary of the theory here but that is beside the point I wanted to make here.)
Let´s look at Steemit for a moment:
Let´s say that the prehistoric time could be defined as April to June 16. Most users here do not know anything about these times: @dan and @ned and some others find out how to light the first fire, then the struggles to survive, to build the basis of civilisation, the first tribes, cuneiform, mathematics etc. ( I was told this happened in a cave @blocktrades )
Probably we can also locate the Garden Eden, the Original
I was wondering, what happens when you start powering down and you get more rewards.
and I start powering down. Then I earn
Y Steem Power.
So with the Powering down, I will only withdraw
X and be left with
Y after 13 weeks.
I am right?
empty allwould be cool
For people who just want to leave the platform, it sure doesn't matter since they won't participate any more.
For the rest, it would be nice, to be sure, when they start the withdrawal, to get everything out.
So you start Powering down with
Y and automatically the next withdrawal is equal to:
X/13 + Y/(weeks left)
hey guys (and girls), there is a special offer at genesis mining right now, you can purchase mining power to mine bitcoin, its a lifetime contract!
it should ammortice itself in about 9 -12 months. or even bevor if you buy more.
If we take a look at the halvening counter (so when it gets not so profitable anymore or atleast not that money making). We got enough time. its over 3 Years till bitcoin mining is become halv as profitable. so i got after ROI over 2 Years of earning free bitcoin and so Money. So every (investment) will be in complete Return in about (depends on the investment) 9-12 Months.
Lets make an example, if you buy 2.5 th/s today. you will earn approximately 0.00142621 BTC daily so about $1.68. Minus the costs for maintenance (about 0,00028$ GH/s) so this makes 0,7$.
Your winnings 1.68$ - 0,7$ of costst, makes a win of 0,98$ a day. Doesnt seems lot , but if you look when the ROI is you will be happy.
The Contract Costs 350$. So when will ROI(Return of investment be) 350$ / 0,98$ = 3
The one-man flagging-dictator reward-police decides I'm not allowed to make rewards I get from people who upvote me on my Flag Solution post... Amazing!
Here is the comment where he doesn't even want to admit there is a problem that many people can see. It's just me,
whining, again... lol. A post I make for solutions to the problem is going to be flagged by the flag-dictator who is being a one-man-police to choose how all the rewards in the platform are allocated. Yet, I'm the problem? Amazing. His solution is for me to shut up and be silent on the abuse going on, since him and his lackeys say there is no abuse... Never un

Hello I am Frank
I joined steemit just a month ago. I found out about steemit from a Tweet about the blogging platform Medium. The tweet link to an article why Medium would be better of using steemit as a business model. And I thought wow that is a great idea and a practical use of the blockchain technology. I already heard of bitcoin and the blockchain. But never saw a good use of it, so far. But now I think we are finally there. Blockchain technology and it crypto currencies getting finally useful. So I want to get into the game too! So here I am :)
After steemit I also started to invest money in chronobank a startup which is offering a currency which is bound to a work hour. So it will never loose or gain value. A stable coin.
Besides discovering about the blockchain world I work as a software develop and create applications with C# and AngularJS. Also I built up Internet Portals and us
I try in every way avoid treat in my blog subjects that hover around the Steemit community. It is not that these matters do not interest me or I am indifferent to what happens in the community, on the contrary, I worry, I read many posts here in the community and I try to discuss these problems that go around this platform in some chat rooms. But, unfortunately, for my opinions be very sincere, frontal, many people avoid discussing with me about it. It is what I feel and I perceive.
In addition to the facts I mentioned above, I avoid writing posts here in blog aimed at the Steemit community, because I perceive a certain boycott by those who have the power to upvote posts that criticize in a way the serious issues that are happening in the community. Which is sad because I believe that Steemit is a platform of
freedom, where I believe that we can express what we feel, see and live withou
David Seaman has had all his accounts DELETED. Youtube, Vidme, Twitter. Anybody who can reach him should tell him to join STEEMIT. I think the reason he has not publicly joined here yet is because He felt it was a
ghost town here. With his 150k followers him joining STEEMIT could pump the price. Now that Youtube, Twitter and Google have officially sided with Satanic pedophiles it is time to stop worrying about
legitimizing an online community by joining and start taking the fight to these sick fucks blockchain style.
Oh and, The Washington Post gave all but convicted pedophile John Podesta a column recently.
I think he still has access to his Gab account so tell him there!
I was reading an excellent post from @dragosroua about his views on Steemit and I decided to add my 2 bits to the mess.
I don't think there are Discount Buyers or Good Clients on Steemit.
Just Doozers & Fraggles.
Let me explain.
When I moved to the UK with my family one of the popular Kiddes TV shows was called Fraggle Rock.
A Jim Henson Special. Muppets to give them their correct name.
My kids watched it as I ran around the house doing what Dad's do in the morning.
When you're trying to get 2 Boyzz out the door to school.
They explained to me the show was about the Doozers who build stuff all the time.
And the Fraggles who just spent their time destroying it.
It strikes me now, after all these years, we have not moved very much on from there.
The Doozers are us.
The Grunts at the bottom of the pile, writing posts for pennies most of the time.
Trying to build or even be part of some sort of mature sensible community.
I'm doing my best to make people aware that Steemit exists. I posted about my fake news checker idea in the group for a BBC World Service technology show and got some good responses. I don't know how many of them clicked through, but it's a group who are interested in new technology, so I hope some followed it up. There are 9676 people in that group.
Then yesterday I tweeted my post about the guitar show and tagged the organisers. They re-tweeted it to a potential audience of 1728 people.
I'm not going to mis-sell Steemit by claiming it can make you rich, but we can get it out there as an alternative to ad-based sites that may
I read an earlier blog about GOOGLE SEARCH identifying STEEMIT posts and it inspired me to share this blog.
First of all I apologise if I am stating the obvious, but for the ones unaware of the sheer power of Steemit, I just wanted to talk about GOOGLE SEARCH.
Yesterday I made a blog talking about the relationship between the creation of Fire and the creation of Blockchain Technology.
Today if you Google "creation of fire" and hit the "last 12 months", this article is number 4.
Some may know this as a feature of Steemit, some may not.
This blog is to help the ones that didn't know this.
FRIENDS AND FAMILY
I am constantly talking to friends and family about Steemit and one way I explain it is that Steemit is like having you very own webpage/website hosted for free..!!
