The 24-year-old Cataraja will face veteran Crison Omayao on September 23 at the PMI Colleges-Taloto Campus in Tagbilaran City, Bohol. Cataraja came from a third round technical knockout victory over Delfin De Asis in July in Iloilo City. It looks like it will be a difficult task for Cataraja as Omayao is the fifth to finish in 49 fights. In an interview, Cataraja admitted that this was a difficult fight for her but she was confident of success. Cataraja explained that she had been studying Omayao's fight and that in her eyes, she could. Omayao has a 24-20-5, 8KOs record. Among the top quality boxers in the world that Omayao is facing include World Boxing Council (WBC) minimumweight king Wanheng Menayothin, Japanese superstar Naoya Inoue, interim World Boxing Association (WBA) flyweight titleholder Sirichai Thaiyen, WBO flyweight titlist Kosei Tanaka, and former world champions Merlito Sabillo and Francisco Rodriguez Jr. As he prepares for the season, Cataraja is sparring with her famous stablemates, former world champion Milan Melindo and former world champion contender Albert Pagara. On the undercard, they will face Fil-Japanese Go Hosaka (3-0, 2 KOs) against Kim Lindog (5-7-1, 4 KOs), Christian Bacolod (11-0, 8 KOs) against Michael Camelion (10-12 -2, 8 KOs) and Regie Suganob (2-0, 1 KO) against John Paul Gabunilas (2-0, 1 KO).
