I don't understand why people get so morbid when things don't go their way. Things can't be hunky dory every day and you have to roll the good with the not so good.We tend to forget how good this place really is and shouldn't have to be reminded to smile.Very few people own Steem and very few will own the amounts of Steem we will when they realize how valuable a resource it is.

I hear and read about people all the time slagging off Steem because it is not doing what they want it to do. Instead of just bitching why not be a little pro active and be part of the community by just growing. Steem will rise hopefully in the not too distant future and not in your time frame in your head.

I know most users have delegated bucket loads of Steem to the various Dapps and others are waiting for something a little more decent or in line with their thinking.If we choose correctly who knows what is possible.I know @steemhunt will do very well just by following what they are up to and they seem to be heading in the right direction in a bear market.

Many users are looking at the Steem price and thinking twice about the "is it worth it".Those are the users who just expect to retire on minimal effort and it doesn't always work like that. Most of us are holding not just Steem but various tokens from other dapps through delegations or just by being busy on them. There is value in every action we do here.

Not all the Dapps will get hot "in the finger in the pie" scenario. Some will get hotter than others and maybe some will stay cold. It is a calculated risk where you put your fingers. look at musing, it had a great buzzing community and is still around but not as busy as it once was. Drug wars is still going and lots chose to leave including myself.

This place is not dead and it is actually only getting started.I will leave you with this one thought. A shopping center only becomes established after 7 years. The turnover of shops in the first 5 years is crazy and only a few really make it.The main shops or anchor tenants are given in some cases free rent for x amount of years. Steem is 3 years old and needs to be given a chance.

Great thoughts about the future of Steem. I for one have chosen to diversify as much as possible. Granted the majority of my stake is in Steem. I look forward to seeing what the future holds.

Yes, I there's a lot of whining going on, yet there's a heck of a lot to be thankful for here as you say. 

It's like folk are jockeying around deciding which horse to back. We're in a great place just by being in the crypto sphere so early and maybe diversification is key as always. 

I would love to see steem prove the doubters wrong though 😉

I watch the activity on steem rather than listen to the whiners. Can't they see a work in progress? Bitcoin took 8 years to get any real notice and we are building something much more expansive on this chain.

I tell you why. Because most of the people are just passive. They still think there is reward without work. It's better to delegate to some dapp and then complain about not getting enough or better yet, complain about others not helping although they have enough.

It's always easier to play the victim then to get to work and learn!! They will never see that what you learn is yours for life, no one can take it away from you. What you learn here, you can use it elsewhere as well. 

It's easier to hang out on Discord and talking about Steem and bitcoin price all day every day. 

I would be curious to see how many can show some kind of improvement since they have registered and I'm not talking about Steem bought with fiat. 

There is and always will be a discrepancy between those who are working hard and those who are complaining, coming and going as the Steem price is fluctuating. 

This is actually a good thing. It's a natural selection.
