Seems to be all kinds of promising going on that took forever or has yet to be fulfilled. :) Okay. So, just trying to say that it sounds like to me that Communities isn't a blockchain level change, so it's not a part of a HF, but from what I've read, it is supposed to follow this particular HF. That is, if they keep their promise this time. :) With Hivemind 1.0 is already set up, so we're waiting on HIvemind 1.5 so Communities can be laid down.

Exactly my understanding. Hivemind is already on the live production servers. Weβre using it now, thereβs just no UI. Only once HF20 opens up user signups will it become practical to launch features that could kindle a widespread adoption.

Yup, this is pretty accurate. Hivemind and SMTs are in parallel development and are of equally high priority. Like HF20 we have been working on these things for a very long time, and much of the work is done. But also like HF20 a lot of pieces have to be put in place before the "bow can be tied."
