God, i thought it will never happen. Although I was in favor of prioritizing blockchain development instead of making marketing efforts i somehow believe it is time to switch focus on obviously more important things. For instance, Justin Sun based his whole strategy on Marketing and PR which allowed him to reach and get the attention from millions of people, but even more relevant, investors. That guy payed 4 million dollars just to have lunch with Buffet. The money payed for hanging out with one of the biggest investors went to charities. And that's how you make yourself look good in the eyes of observers. Good for him.
https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmXvEXtxnmB5cmtpDye5j3LRsBorM4uXaubT4xPFFMQfvD/image.png
I mean, if Steem isn't the best possible entry point for normal people to start their Crypto journey i don't know what is. I learned almost everything after i joined steem. Before that i was just a noobie trapped in the whole new world, really uncertain where to even start. I was lucky enough to stick around for so long to see all the changes taking place, sometimes so rapidly that i couldn't even keep the track. And that is where i see the biggest value. Not to mention how last year was a fucking beast and yet, we survived. Mistakes were made, some bigger than others but what matters is what we learned from it. Centralized entities such as Facebook or You tube lost their credibility and i think this is the best possible time to take actions. You tube has decided to censor everyone who dares to disagree with their totalitarian rules of service while Facebook was pretty bias on selling our data to third parties. Steem is the solution to all the above mentioned problems. And instead of using that as an advantage over them we somehow continued to do the code. @whatsup made it clear in her recent post what should we change and i fully agree on everything she said. We can create perfect system and yet if no one knows about it what's the point? After all we do have much to offer, it's not like we're trying to sell something we don't believe in... That alone should make a difference on huge scale. Guess we will need to wait for HF21 and SPS to start fresh and hyped. Keep up the hustle.
