## April, my worst Month
I always start every month with a lot of positivity but the first week of April started on a very bad foot. Little did i know that the worst was still to come or that all of April was going to be full of all kinds of challenges.
So what have been some of my biggest challenges this April;
### 1. Mistake SBD transfer to Poloniex
First, i made a mistake and sent about 40SBD to @poloniex. How did i make this kind of mistake? I think i was under so much pressure from the Landlord to pay the rents of @ecodesigns, our textile recycling and fashion designing hub that is training women and girls for free in textile recycling and fashion designing.

But was it really a mistake or a Steem - Steem transfer? Poloniex tells me they can't refund the SBD but i think that SBD should be refunded because it's not an irreversible transfer. The SBD is in their account and in the days ahead, i will be launching an advocacy campaign for Poloniex to refund the SBD of everyone who has ever made a mistake and sent them SBD as well as advocating for Steemit (steemitblog) to add a caution message just like they caution you to include the transfer memo whenever you want to do a Steem transfer to Poloniex.

I have had a series of message exchanges with Poloniex and i will publish all the message responses on Steemit as well as their Twitter account so that they can provide answers to all the questions i raised. We say no to fraud of any kind on Steemit. We're still in dire need of the 40SBD coz it could help power-up our account.
##### We have some #Steemit/#Poloniex advocacy work and reforms to do. If you've ever lost SBD to Poloniex, i think we will need you to speak out. 
2. ###  the ecoDesigns account hack

One week after we lost almost 40SBD, the @ecodesigns account worth almost $800 got hacked. It was hacked via a phishing link and i just wish to caution Steemians to never ever use their active or master passwords in any suspicious link. If you doubt a site, ask a steemian for verification. ### 3. Deaths
One week after, a friend who owed me (@mr-greens) $700 died. A friend called from Yaounde, the capital of Cameroon who was aware of the business loan i gave the person who died called me to inform me of his death. He told me, he had been sick for a long while before he finally died and was buried in their village. 

##### In total, i've lost almost $1700 USD during the month of April. 
As if the financial losses weren't enough, a very close friend of mine loss the dad and it was very traumatizing. The shock was huge and in financial pain, i also had to deal with emotional pain. It has not been easy for me this Apil.
### 4. Accidents
The first time, i hit the car bumper on a pile of cement blocks there were packed. It wasn't bad but today the last day of April 2021, a red today corolla reversed and hit the back bumper of my car. What a fine way to close the month of April.

At the end of it, I am happy i didn't get depressed or let a lot of energy drain out of me during the month of April. I am happy i am strong, vibrant, positive and ready to face may with the 50K SP Power up Project. 
I think its going to be an awesome May 2021. 
However, i think my losses and challenges don't mean i didn't have any beautiful stories to share. In fact, a lot of beautiful things happened to me in April but the terrible things were just too many.
