There are a lot of issues to consider why the Lakers are still not a contending team even after landing LeBron James in the off-season. Lakers coach Luke Walton is being exposed with this issue after some of his bad decisions and a not so impressive rotation. He also can’t develop the young guards or he can’t make them better. I think he’s too young for this Lakers team who is aiming for a championship. I also heard that he is being dominated by the veterans and he can’t get the respect from them. Now, Walton’s coaching career is on the line now and the Lakers are rumored to fire him anytime soon so today, we will give you our take on who should the Lakers hired if Walton gets fired.
Frank Vogel
We know Frank made his name known with his time in Indiana bringing success to the team with consecutive playoffs appearances. He has enough amount of experience to lead this team in the right direction just in time. He also can get along with stars like Paul George so I think there will be no problem between him in LeBron. The only problem I see is the fact that he is not that good in handling young stars and he is not the type to develop them and elevate their games. If they hired Vogel, I think it’s a good option to trade some young guys for some proven stars. Vogel is some kind of expert in defense so I think it would help the Lakers a lot.

https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmdBRGAgPmRRSVT9v9jj7QN2AQPmQUfr8dEVMG9Lo1gnXz/unnamed.jpg

Mark Jackson
Who would have thought that Jackson is still available for a head coaching job? Jackson is a great coach and its known that he started making the Golden State Warriors so good. He signed with the Warriors in 2011 and created an immediate impact. That is the time that the Warriors are exposed after Jackson brought them to two consecutive playoff appearances but defeated by the Sacramento Spurs and the Los Angeles Clippers respectively. But after a great run with the team, Jackson was fired by team owner in 2013. Now, you know how good Jackson is so the Lakers should consider taking him for the job.

https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmcaYGu4ox3u2WhrxYsVtAW3PHjepa9aR4TrSXd6t4nUSP/unnamed.jpg

Kevin McHale
Kevin McHale is a well-respected name in the NBA. He is a great player in his time and a great coach also. McHale can fix all the problems with the Lakers and he can be a true leader. He is not the type that can be dominated by any player. He can discipline them especially the young guys and his style of coaching is well-fitted with the Lakers young core. At his age of 61, sure he knows well in terms of basketball. We all saw that in his time with the Houston Rockets leading them to playoff appearances while building James Harden to be great. He also prioritizes defense and defense wins championships. He will not also waste his time for some nonsense and will surely be focus in his job.

https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmSWBP4ijg79rGKMHyb8nDNBU6LJ8R7fP7SxicEJS3img8/unnamed.jpg

Phil Jackson
Phil Jackson, the legend, one of the best basketball minds in history of the game. The man who coached MJ, the man who coached Kobe, the man who became champion with those two all-time greats. This may not be very realistic because Phil might not get back to coaching but what if he did it? What if he coaches LeBron James and his Lakers? That would be something special. How about considering it? Jackson just needs to be their coach until LeBron James’ game declines. It will be an awesome duo and it’s not a joke because Jackson surely can make this team better.
Thank you for following @steemsports and you can find me @dwin0603

This is a @steemvoter subscription payment post.
