In this video I briefly cover some important basics you need to be aware of to safely and securely use cryptocurrency.
The first three videos of this series were recorded on the same day using a laptop in my closet. :) Future videos will have a clean backdrop with a high quality camera and lighting, so stay tuned! Thank you for supporting me so far. My next video will demonstrate how to get your crypto
In ancient times purple, dark blue and violet were colors directly related to royalty, luxury and wealth. This is because of the difficulty of acquiring the pigments. Let me tell you the story about legendary colors and a chemical process that dies over a thousand years ago... A story that involves: Carnivore snails!!! (c'mon, admit it, carnivore snails is something everyone wants to hear about!)
Until synthetic dyes made their appearance about 100 years ago, natural ones that came from plants, animals or minerals were the only option for coloring things.
Given their beauty or, actually, rarity because how hard they were to acquire the tones purple, violet and blue were destined for monarchs, Caesars, emperors generals and high priests. Several ancient texts make reference to the <a href="http://penel
Reading is important for all people. Developing the habit of reading can benefit a kid from various aspects, such as broadening their horizons, gaining more knowledge. My son loves reading, as shown in the pictures of this post. I am very happy to see that. What tricks do you have to help a kid to love reading? Feel free to share your thoughts by commenting. Thank you and wish Steemians a happy weekend.

Most people especially new minnows are whining and in extreme case weeping their ass off because they are not making money as expected on Steemit. This is understandable if we consider the time and opportunity costs involve : cost of being online especially in the developing economies where the cost of electricity and internet is too high and in some cases, unavailable. Conversely, in light of this burning issue, those affected should not give up the ghost rather change their blogging strategies by following these constructive advice laid out in this article.

When i was a kid, then a doctor was like a guy with super powers, when there was something wrong...
The doctor will knows what to do.....but in the following years i started to get to know doctors better and the health care around them. And slowly the image of a guy with super powers ,changed into something like this.
Yep this might look funny, but our doctor is just like that.
The bell ringed in my head one day, when i sit together with my doctor searching the internet about a solution!! While we were searching for something, i suddenly got a thought in my mind, what said.... What a minute... WTF im doing?
_I could do this at home for free! WTH is this guy doing was on my mind, and then i suddenly realize that he don't know what he was doing. I felt like the blind man following another blind man! so
The alchemist raises his hand, waving it in the air in a magic attempt to stop time. His eyes wander around the ceiling of his lab in a ritual only he understands. I between his thick beard and mustache, his lips display a glimpse of something that looks like amazement. Eureka!. He has a knee on the ground adopting the classic poets' posture in a moment of revelation. The clock says it is 11 PM. The room is plunged in shadows. A few inches from his face, something glows with a ghostly appearance. In that bottle, just distilled, a major discovery brews: And unknown and refulgent substance. Still with his hand up and looking at the ceiling, the alchemist decides to baptize it: phos (light) & phoros (to bring).
The alchemist Hennig Brand found phosphorus.
IT probably didn't happen like that, but some classic painting depi

The idea of 'Quantum' Technologies is incredibly prevalent in our society today and most technologies just use the word 'Quantum' to add flare and not because they actually use anything relevant in the world of Quantum physics. So what is the 'weirdness' of Quantum physics, and why and how do the laws of classical physics break down at the atomic level?
In Classical mechanics, to classify the path of an object we typically use Newton's force laws or Lagrangian mechanics (with Euler-Lagrange equation), it is a quantifiable solution with exact results (what I mean
Hermit Crabs are a large super-family of over 1000 individual species. With both aquatic and terrestrial species, they can be found in a variety of places.
We found some near South Padre island when we went to the beach the other day. Sure, I cut my head open in the process, but we still made some good memories.
These ones happen to be an aquatic species that can be found all over one the shores and in the water. We found some while snorkeling too, which was exciting for the @little-peppers. One of my favorite functions that these crabs serve is being part of the ocean's cleanup crew, and helping to remove carrion from the ocean floor. For more info, check out the video.

Here is the first episode of a series produced by Mike Maloney 25:55 minutes. There's a lot of knowledge given by Mike Maloney, on youtube and on his website. Feel free to visit his website. There is really good stuff to find.
But on this video what I want to bring the focus on is ;
The think is, the video might have been fil around 2011/2012, Bitcoin have been out since 2009 and was far from where it is today.

A couple of weeks ago, I discussed what is known as the flavor anomalies observed by the LHCb experiment running at the Large Hadron Collider (the LHC) at CERN. This can be found in my three earlier posts available from here, here and there.
I come back to this topic again today and try to describe one of the explanations proposed by physicists to explain what is going on.
**This explanation involves a new particle called a leptoquark, and it works extremely well as not ruled out by the experim
Here is a video ; 21:28 minutes, more visual on how monetary system is created.
Follow 4th and 5th post of this series, hope it will enlighten you on the system, how it has been create, how it work and realize how it might end up in 5 to 10 years from now.

The Cuban Brown Anole (Anolis sagrei) can now be found across the southern United States and even in Taiwan. Originally, it was found in the Caribbean Islands.
Like other small lizards, the Cuban Brown Anole became popular in the pet trade, and many made their way outside in the wild. Since they have the tendency to displace the native lizards, they are considered to be invasive by some.
The males have a beautiful bright orange dewlap. The pattern on their backs can look like that of a Red-Tailed Boa or Copperhead. For more info, check out the video below.
The information is the video is original but I did have a quick refresher from this source.
After a week of a well-deserved break, I am now back on tracks to discuss physics again.
Instead of chatting about particle physics or cosmology, I decided this time to move on with my series of posts on quantum mechanics. To make a long story short, those are connected to lectures I have held for bachelor students a couple of years ago. The table of content is available below.
With this 9th post on the topic (and the next one), I will discuss old models trying to explain the atomic structure.
Those are good examples of the scientific method. Theories have been designed to explain what was going on with atoms, in particular the planetary model of Rutherford (this post) and the model of Bohr (the next post). But data started to push a little bit later in favor of an alternative theory (i.e. quantum mechanics) and both Rutherford and Bohr’s model are now lying in history of science bo

Mistakes. Now there's a school I'd sign up for.
I recently wrote the story of a mistake that landed me on Trash Island and the glorious, unexpected results that taught me how important it is to not always correct your students, but to allow for uncertainty and the real learning that comes from living with whatever results their actions may bring.
This story is from the flip side, from my perspective as a mentor working with a homeschooler. It's from everyday life, which I consider super important because in my experience learning is everywhere, not just in classrooms but especially in the so-called
mundane events for which their magic potential is far too easy t
I was standing watching a world cup football game in a pizzeria and I heard an angry voice trying to get my attention. A woman stood there with her husband and a small child in her arms rapidly expressing her displeasure at something I had done. Quickly realising what was happening, I waited for her to take a breath and before the next tirade arrived, I said, 'I am sorry, I don't work here'.
'Scusa, scusa', she replied blushing. She wanted a table at the restaurant. I was in Italy on holiday.
I am not an expert at everything. I know, I know, looks are deceiving.
I have had some very thoughtful exchanges over the last six months with people that at least at surface level, appear quite educated or skilled in certain areas. It really is great especially when people are willing to argue their positions, criticise mine and even reconsider their own positions and bring new thoughts into the conversation.
One thing that does happen at times though is that people assume that
The pic you are seeing is from my road trip to see Paul in Kentucky which brings me into this post!
A week from today I will be boarding a flight to Albuquerque, New Mexico for the Tesla Tech Conference.
This got me thinking about a few things that I would like to share with you all today.
To start, I will be teaching a GEET class. What this means is you will learn about the GEET technology that was invented back in the 80's by Paul Pantone. This system is an attachment to any engine to allow it to run on pretty much anything.
With Paul's passing in late 2015, he informed us that full disclosure would happen and his
missing key would be revealed to the world. I would like to say that I will be showing these tips and offer my 7 years of experience with the system.
Aside from that, my thoughts are to do with airport security. I am one of those people that feels it is not doing anything at all to keep u
As most of you know I am an educator and I believe that Steemit has the opportunity to be a great platform for education. I always try to promote education as I believe that education is the main building block for life.
The account is currently run by three educators and will primarily be used to curate educational posts. We believe that there is a little place for everyone under the sun here at Steemit, and there is a great number of educators that creates wonderful posts. We thoroughly enjoy looking for the best educational posts on a daily basis, and there is some great opportunity out there.
