Just this past weekend, Chinese authorities decided to further outlaw the use of VPNs in the country, use of them will now require approval by the government. The Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said that they wanted to clean-up the internet connections in the country and that was the reason for the move.
Many well-known websites have been blocked in China, but a number of citizens no doubt were using virtual private networks VPNs in order to access those sites. But now they will be at even more risk if they want to go looking for sites like Twitter, Facebook, and Youtube. The VPNs had already been subject to scrutiny by the state in China but now they are even more so. It's alleged that these new rules are questionably vague and therefore it is uncertain how the state might go about enforcing them.
Internet censorship is condemned by many around the world for a number of reasons, one of the most glaringly obvious is because it seemingly violates the natural right to freedom of expression. China isn't the only state that looks to control what it's citizens look at either, a number of other countries routinely censor their internet access for citizens as well.
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in China has said that for the next year or so they are going to be moving against internet providers that are caught providing unauthorized internet connections. China has an internet population that is estimated to be upwards of 600 million and it's said that most of those users are using mobile phones in order to get connected.
Blockchain technology is the backbone of Bitcoin. But since its inception in 2009, the technology has grown to support many use cases and projects around the world.
2017 will be a big year for blockchain. In this blog post, we cover the top areas of the blockchain industry and what we can expect for blockchain in 2017.
A recent CoinDesk article reveals that 7 major European banks are partnering on a new blockchain-based trade finance platform called the Digital Trade Chain (DTC).
They have a tentative plan to launch in Q3-Q4 of 2017.
Those backing the platform’s development are looking to establish a secure place to manage open account trade transactions for both domestic and international commerce. DTC utilizes a permissioned ledger, with authorized parties allowed to submit transactions on the platform.
Open account trade transactions involve products being shipped before the actual payment is due, meaning that trust among the transaction’s parties is imperative. With DTC, those plugged into the system will be able to track the progression of those transactions, from initiation to settlement.
Thus far, the banks involved – KBC, Deutsche Bank, HSBC, Natixis, Rabobank, Société Générale and UniCredit – have signed a memorandum of understanding that lays out the basic groundwork for future development. That said, the banks are looking to launch DTC sometime in 2017, with an eye to building support in markets like France, Germany and the UK.
A conference that caught our eye recently is the MIT Technology Review Conference: The Business of Blockchain.
The event will be held at the MIT Media Lab on April 18, 2017. The purpose of the one-day conference is “to explore the opportunities and challenges associated with public digital ledgers, or blockchains.”
Blockchains have the power to create entirely new kinds of businesses and more people are starting to realize this everyday.
Blockchain is still relatively new. The industry is still in its infancy. We can expect a variety of new use cases to be introduced in 2017.
Bitcoin is the largest and most well know blockchain project. It is currently traded all around the world and more businesses are beginning to accept Bitcoin as a means of payment.
In addition to growth and adoption, Bitcoin will focus on security and scalability. The DAO hack demonstrated the need for advanced security protocols for all blockchain projects. Scalability is also an issue. “Today the Bitcoin network is restricted to a sustained rate of 3.3 tps (7 tps theoretical) due to the bitcoin protocol restricting block sizes to 1MB. Scalability will remain the holy grail of blockchain technology.”
Many people believe the public blockchain with the most attainable and impactful scalability roadmap is Ethereum.
Here are some of the Ethereum projects to look out for:
Infura is an enterprise-grade Ethereum-based blockchain infrastructure being used in IoT, and in conjunction with the public Ethereum blockchain and Inter Planetary File System (IPFS). Developers interface with Infura via Web3/RPC.
MetaMask is a bridge that allows you to visit the distributed web of tomorrow in your browser today. It allows you to run Ethereum dApps right in your browser without running a full Ethereum node.
BlockApps is an enterprise-grade Ethereum-based blockchain infrastructure solution used in banking, payments, insurance, supply chain and others. BlockApps is designed to provide a permissioned Ethereum environment which easily operates at scale, allowing applications to handle a high volume of transactions per second. Developers can build interfaces with their permissioned blockchain using a REST API.
Steemit.com is the world’s fastest growing decentralized social media platform.
Steemit connects to a robust blockchain database called Steem. This blockchain database distributes rewards in cryptocurrency to the users who bring the best content (blogs, comments, videos etc.) to the Steemit site.
On January 17th, 2017 Steemit.com was featured on Forbes.com. Author, Roger Aitken covered the 2017 comprehensive roadmap for Steemit.com.
The big news surrounds the Steemit.com migration to Amazon Web Services, the world’s largest hosting provider. Steemit has racked up over 120,000 registered users in around 6 months and they need to be able to handle more traffic as the platform grows.
Steemit Co-founder & CEO, Ned Scott is quoted several times throughout the article:
“2017 will be our banner year and the community will see a ton of upgrades from now until the end of March. Migrating hosting to reputable third parties allows us to focus all of our time and attention on development of the site, software, and community – not on scaling or maintaining servers or hosting infrastructure.”
Follow My Vote continues to pioneer end-to-end verifiable blockchain voting software in 2017. See our Github repo for updates on our software.
It’s important to note that, when designing our stake-weighted voting system’s architecture, we designed it in such a way to ensure that our blockchain voting software was portable from one blockchain to another. (contact us if you are interested in a custom blockchain voting solution)
2016 was filled with momentous achievements for Follow My Vote. Here you can see we reached out to and networked with some of the top technology leaders and politicians. (Gary Johnson & John McAfee featured)
We anticipate that 2017 will be filled with many Follow My Vote software releases and partnerships, in an effort to bring end-to-end verifiable blockchain voting to the world.

Recently, the CIA got ahead of schedule and completed an initial upload of over 13 million documents spread over 800,000 files. These documents are not new; however, they were only previously accessible on four computers at the National Archives in Maryland. Thanks to the work of a non-profit freedom of information group known as MuckRock, the files are no longer relegated to four physical computers and is now available for every and anyone to read at their leisure.
The information that has been uploaded covers a wide gamut of topics ranging from Extra-sensory Perception (ESP), Remote Viewing, to manuals such as the one referenced in the title of this post
Psychological Operations in Guerrilla Warfare. The significance of this event should not be understated and already around the interwebs there are those who are diving right into the rabbit hole to see this information treasure trove holds.
My intention with this series of post is not to express my personal opinion but only to assist in propagating this information. The following review examines the CIA's operational guidelines when conducting psy-ops in Guerrilla Warfare.
As in most books there is a preface that outlines what the subsequent text will cover in more detail. What stands out in the preface is the identification of the human mind as the ultimate psychological warfare target. It states that it is only through control at this level that psy-ops in Guerrilla Warfare can be most effective.
Positing that Guerrilla Warfare is more of a political war, they see Psychological Operations as the determining factor of success. For the purposes of the manual, they use the
Christian and democratic crusade being conducted in Nicaragua...
The text specifies again that this manual is intended to
introduce the guerrilla student to psychological operation techniques, which will have an immediate and practical value in guerrilla warfare. Stressing the nature of the political environment in which guerrilla warfare takes place, the manual concedes that sophisticated psychological operations are not practical and that, instead, this type of warfare demands that groups, detachments, squadron leaders etc are able to execute psychological operations with little to no guidance from
These kind of combatants are not just average soldiers. The text states that these kind of soldiers have to be willing to conduct face-to-face propaganda, and do it as well as they fight. As most soldiers are not trained to conduct this type of warfare, the manual indicates some approaches to developing the guerrilla forces in a way that will prepare them to conduct psychological warfare. Some of these techniques include:
groupto help improve their performance training.
The goal is to have the soldier form a deep-seated relationship with the cause, one that will enable him to communicate with the local population in a more persuasive manner that helps to create identification between the people and the guerrillas. In keeping with the idea that it is the entire population that takes part in Psychological Operations, they point out that the training helps them communicate with the locals, but it also helps them keep each other in line.
Done correctly, they believe that once the identification between population and guerrilla outfit is cemented, no amount of oppositional propaganda will be able to turn the people against the guerrillas.
Contrary to how it may sound, armed propaganda is not propaganda through the use of force. Quite the opposite, it is a psychological technique that aims to improve the behavior of the people towards the guerrilla group. Guerrillas in rural areas, for example, are instructed to integrate into a town and to work alongside the people.
This means field work but also conducting public relations with the young men through allowing them to handle unloaded weapons and teaching them the basics of their operation. An important component of this is the use of slogans that describe how these same weapons will help
liberate the people from the oppression the opposition has thrust upon them. Another important facet is co-opting the political desires of the people
for hospitals and education, a reduction of taxes, etc.
This section ends with the reaffirmation that the objective is to link the population with the weapons and the handlers of the weapons in a positive manner that allows the guerrilla outfit to exist in the midst of the people.
These teams are comprised of those guerrillas who are the most persuasive and motivated. Their purpose is to drum up support for the guerrillas while encouraging resistance to the
enemy. It is interesting that combat ability and their powers of persuasion is of more import than their educational background.
This section is made up of only two paragraphs.
To facilitate the development and control of these
fronts, high value citizens are first recruited as
Social Crusaders essentially without their knowledge. Among those considered high value are doctors, attorneys, businessmen, teachers and
etc, which insinuates that others could fit this bill as well.
In developing a front organization it is not immediately disclosed to these citizens who they are working with and the goal is to solidify their support and involvement before they are told. After they are told, further training and instruction in persuasion ensues, and the groups to which these high value citizens belong to become the control target. The desire is that these assets will help secure control of important groups in society that will support the political goals of the guerrillas.
Also by keeping these groups unaware of each other, the guerrillas can then work towards fusing all the disparate groups together into a national front when the time is appropriate.
This section is short but very interesting, as it deals with ideas that we can see used around the world and even in our own backyard.
After infiltrating various social organizations, these soldiers can help shape the narrative of the group they are infiltrating. They must attempt to steer the
mental attitude of the group so that they can be used to initiate
justified violence. The guerrillas, using a modest 200 or 300 hundred agitators, should be capable of producing demonstrations of up to 10-20k people.
At this stage in the mission, all parts of the guerrilla structure should be in place in the target society. The propagandist-combatant guerillas, armed propaganda, armed propaganda teams, front organizations and mass meetings coalesce at this point into a national front of rebellion against the standing regime. It's at this time that the guerilla works the most to gain sympathy and shared identification with the rest of
The goal is to remove support for the existing regime by increasing support for the guerrillas who have captured the ideology of the masses. Through armed propaganda they can continue to create commonalities between the guerillas and the people, and with the propaganda teams, they can maintain a spy network throughout the country. The final stage before open rebellion comes with the meetings and mass assemblies:
The manual stresses that this kind of warfare must happen in concert with the weakening of the standing regimes military capabilities. In order for the Psychological Operations to be successful when the rebellion begins, there must also be an effort to achieve military goals concurrently, so that the entire regime, militarily and socioeconomically, falls apart.
This ends Section I. This manual uses Nicaragua as an example of how to commence Psychological Operations in guerilla warfare but is not specific to Nicaragua. These methods can be, and presumably have been, used anywhere that destabilization of the current regime is desired.
I am sharing what I'm reading in the CIA data dump because it is important to understand that some people deliver mail for a living, and some people destabilize foreign governments. It is not conspiracy theory to question the involvement of one country in the affairs of another, especially when the existing evidence points to just that.
This first section of this 70 page document was an overview of the process of destabilizing a ruling regime. The subsequent sections go into much further detail about each section I covered above, and I may post further about this topic as needed. This is information that is as useful today as it was in 1984 when it was disseminated.
Washington, D.C. - The much maligned Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), a darling of the neoliberal establishment on both the left and the right, is dead in the water after President Trump signed an executive order withdrawing the US from the controversial free-trade pact.
The TPP was the largest global trade agreement since NAFTA, and would have included the United States, Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore and Vietnam. Essentially the TPP was a policy move by the U.S. meant to create a trade bloc as a means of countering rising Chinese economic might -- under the guise of an “Asian pivot” – but that was seen by many Americans as a give away to large multinational corporations.
Here is a short primer on the TPP and its partner legislation the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP), which reveal exactly how these deals were meant to operate:
Much of what the public knows about this secretive trade pact comes from leaks provided by the whistleblower organization WikiLeaks. If not for the information Wikileaks has provided, the public would be even more in the dark than they currently are, as to the details included within these trade deals.
Hillary Clinton was a supporter of the TPP, before later claiming to be against it, while her rival in the for the Democratic presidential nomination, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, railed against the trade pact on a regular basis as something that would hurt American workers.
Opposing the TPP was one of the central tenets of the Trump presidential campaign, as Trump attempted to tap into the angst of the blue collar working class that Senator Sanders had so effectively coalesced in his failed primary run. The new administration called the trade pact a “potential disaster” for the United States, and said they would instead prefer to engage in bilateral deals with the individual states involved in the trade deal.
Critics of the TPP argue that it gives unfair competitive advantages to large multinational corporations. They also say that it takes away sovereignty from countries and gives it to small decision-making bodies that are not beholden to the public – thus further helping the rich get richer on the backs of the poor.
The Electronic Frontier Foundation laid out a succinct case against the TPP that revealed the far-reaching scope and dangers inherent to the trade deal:
In a joint letter to Congress released today, more than 250 technology companies and user rights organizations say that the extreme level of secrecy surrounding trade negotiations have led to provisions in agreements like the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) that threaten digital innovation, free speech, and access to knowledge online, and the letter calls on Congress to come out against the Fast Track, also known as Trade Promotion Authority (TPA), bill for legitimizing this secretive process… The letter specifically identifies the TPP's threats based on leaked texts of the agreement—how it threatens fair use, could lead to more costly forms of online copyright enforcement, criminalize whistleblowing and investigative journalism, and create investor-state dispute settlement (ISDS) courts that would further jeopardize user protections in domestic laws.
Negotiations for the European-focused parallel trade deal, the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP), also have come to a sudden end.
Additionally, it appears the Trump administration has it sights set on the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), which eliminated commercial barriers between the US, Canada and Mexico during the Clinton administration.
“We are going to start renegotiating on NAFTA, on immigration and on security at the border,” Trump said on Sunday, after the swearing-in ceremony for senior White House staff.
It appears that this decision is one that many Americans, who aren’t part of the establishment-elite, were rooting for since long before Trump came onto the scene. Activists across the world have fought tirelessly to expose and defeat what they see as a give-away to industry and business at the expense of the average person.
There is one word to describe the news today, negativity.
If you watch the news enough you are more likely to loose faith in humanity and become a shut in. Because of the way the news portrays the world, it looks like we are in for a murderous apocalypse. You hardly ever see good stuff in the news like a person assisting a sting ray give birth. People cleaning polluted beaches or creating technology to clear out the trash that is leaking into the ocean. These things are mostly seen on social media, so it is no wonder that most of the people turn to social media to receive news.
Although bad news does generate trough social media as well the next few posts you see something positive is happening and I prefer not to fear stepping out of my door.
Here are a few video's to brighten the days of people actually watching the news.

DOOMSDAY PREP FOR THE SUPER-RICH
Some of the wealthiest people in America—in Silicon Valley, New York, and beyond—are getting ready for the crackup of civilization.
Steve Huffman, the thirty-three-year-old co-founder and C.E.O. of Reddit, which is valued at six hundred million dollars, was nearsighted until November, 2015, when he arranged to have laser eye surgery. He underwent the procedure not for the sake of convenience or appearance but, rather, for a reason he doesn’t usually talk much about: he hopes that it will improve his odds of surviving a disaster, whether natural or man-made. “If the world ends—and not even if the world ends, but if we have trouble—getting contacts or glasses is going to be a huge pain in the ass,” he told me recently. “Without them, I’m fucked.”
Huffman, who lives in San Francisco, has large blue eyes, thick, sandy hair, and an air of restless curiosity; at the University of Virginia, he was a competitive ballroom dancer, who hacked his roommate’s Web site as a prank. He is less focussed on a specific threat—a quake on the San Andreas, a pandemic, a dirty bomb—than he is on the aftermath, “the temporary collapse of our government and structures,” as he puts it. “I own a couple of motorcycles. I have a bunch of guns and ammo. Food. I figure that, with that, I can hole up in my house for some amount of time.”
Survivalism, the practice of preparing for a crackup of civilization, tends to evoke a certain picture: the woodsman in the tinfoil hat, the hysteric with the hoard of beans, the religious doomsayer. But in recent years survivalism has expanded to more affluent quarters, taking root in Silicon Valley and New York City, among technology executives, hedge-fund managers, and others in their economic cohort.
Last spring, as the Presidential campaign exposed increasingly toxic divisions in America, Antonio García Martínez, a forty-year-old former Facebook product manager living in San Francisco, bought five wooded acres on an island in the Pacific Northwest and brought in generators, solar panels, and thousands of rounds of ammunition. “When society loses a healthy founding myth, it descends into chaos,” he told me. The author of “Chaos Monkeys,” an acerbic Silicon Valley memoir, García Martínez wanted a refuge that would be far from cities but not entirely isolated. “All these dudes think that one guy alone could somehow withstand the roving mob,” he said. “No, you’re going to need to form a local militia. You just need so many things to actually ride out the apocalypse.” Once he started telling peers in the Bay Area about his “little island project,” they came “out of the woodwork” to describe their own preparations, he said. “I think people who are particularly attuned to the levers by which society actually works understand that we are skating on really thin cultural ice right now.”
In private Facebook groups, wealthy survivalists swap tips on gas masks, bunkers, and locations safe from the effects of climate change. One member, the head of an investment firm, told me, “I keep a helicopter gassed up all the time, and I have an underground bunker with an air-filtration system.” He said that his preparations probably put him at the “extreme” end among his peers. But he added, “A lot of my friends do the guns and the motorcycles and the gold coins. That’s not too rare anymore.”

The GOES-16 satellite is now sending back stunning pictures from its orbit 22.3 thousand miles above Earth using an Advanced Baseline Imager (ABI).
GOES-16 provides 16 spectral channels of data from the most advanced technological weather satellite in space. In the following pictures you can see the shallows around the Caribbean islands. The photographs from GOES-16 are simply amazing.
GOES-16 was launched on 19 November 2016. It took about two weeks of altitude adjustments to get the satellite in its geostationary orbit high above North America and near the equator. The satellite will continuously monitor the weather and help forecasters improve weather forecasts.
GOES-16 is the 16th Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite (GOES) and the first of four new advanced next-generation weather GOES-R satellites.
Just like other GOES satellites GOES-16 uses the moon to calibrate its Earth-viewing instruments.
However its advanced instruments that deliver 16 spectral bands of data down to a 6-mile square resolution is truly game changing for National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) weather and environmental scientists. This high resolution allows for more than just tracking cloud movements. The instrumentation also provides unprecedented ability to study lightning. With this next generation weather satellite forecasters will be able to more precisely predict weather events and severe weather events.
Weather data centers have been upgrading their storage capacities and processing capabilities to prepare to process the data from the new GOES-R satellites. This is truly an exciting time for weather and environmental scientists. The new GOES-R satellites will give scientists an enormous amount of data to study weather, climate, and our environment.

Here in the UK we are nearing the end of Celebrity Big Brother and although I spend most of the time screaming at the TV, I actually enjoy watching it.
This year I feel has really topped the charts with indecency and foul mouthed intellect from the most unusual sources. It absolutely drags any immoral thoughts you have out from the gutter into a house with more ego than Johnny Bravo (If you don't know him it's an egocentric cartoon character from the 80's) Showing my age now but I don't care!
The wildcard (literally) came flying in last week with with her feather duster and the most inexcusable dialect. Coming from a 75 year old woman who spiralled into fame as cleaning superwoman Kim (Kim and Aggie duo) She claims to be kind, honest and thoughtful.
She didn't come across like that when she was calling people everything that is NOT in the dictionary for good reason.
Chloe Ferry, a 21 year old reality TV star rubbed her bare bottom on one half of Jedwards back, as he sat stunned from the other side he declared he didn't see her in that way. She still continued to gyrate.
Jedward as irritating as the pop duo are, they are polite and don't use their sexuality as a porn, I mean pawn (see what i did there) in a completely ruthless mind bending reality game.
The diamond in the place is another positively lovely wildcard, in the form of James Cosmo. He was in Braveheart with Mel Gibson. An absolute English Gem.
Here are a list of the housemates so far and my humble opinion of their behaviour.
A much as I despise the behaviour of some of them.......I do love to watch the programme!
I would like to see these in the final 4.
Jedward (Entertainent purposes)
James C (For moral reasons)
Coleen/Bianca (Equally as they are both coming across as lovely people)
You either love it or hate it. I love it!
Here's a clip for your perusal.
Well, that didn't take long.
In the wake of India's demonetization of the 500 and 1,000 rupee notes last November, I wrote an editorial (
[Crisitunity in India's Cash Crunch](https://www.corbettreport.com/crisitunity-in-indias-cash-crunch/)) where I noted that one significant reason for the drastic move was the chance to rein in India's sizable informal economy:
"In India, they call cash gleaned from counter-economic activities 'black money.' It’s not known to the government, it’s not stored in the banks, and it’s not taxed. In other words, it’s the would-be technocratic overlords’ worst nightmare. It’s impossible to know the size of this 'black money' pool (can we call it something cooler, like 'freedom funds' or something?) but it has been estimated to be as much as 20% the size of the total Indian economy. Now with the vast bulk of those freely-gotten gains being brought back into the banking system (or exchanged with a valid form of government identification), it will come back under the purview of Big Brother and his friend, Uncle Taxman.
As if on cue, earlier this month the Indian income tax department began asking banks for data on their customers' bank deposits between April and November of last year so they could better analyze the cash that was being turned in for signs of
suspicious activity. And now, the latest from the Hindustan Times:
"People who deposited huge amounts of cash in their bank accounts after the Centre’s demonetisation exercise may get multiple notices from the Income Tax department through the rest of the year.
The department – which has started sending notices to those who deposited currency over Rs 2 lakh [_200,000 rupees, or about US$3000_] after November 9 – directed its officials to ensure that “genuine” cases are dissolved at the earliest. Probes would then be undertaken against those found to have “fuzzy” sources of income. The mammoth exercise could go on till the next financial year, sources said.
The article goes on to note that
using risk-based data analytics of cash deposits in bank accounts to distinguish between genuine and not genuine cases, the tax department has become capable of targeting even entry-level operators. Not only that, but we now learn that
the government has begun analysing deposits in new accounts and loan repayments as well as transfers to e-wallets and advance remittance for imports during the last 10 days of deadline to turn in junked notes.
In other words, the poorest of the poor and the previously unbanked have now been duly identified and branded as tax cattle, ripe for the fleecing (to mix a metaphor). No surprise there.
Indeed, as Satya Sagar points out in our recent conversation on the demonetization scheme, if this scheme were really about cracking down on so-called
black money, it's a colossal misstep. Only 6% of the so-called
black money is actually held in cash, as those looking to evade the taxman invest it in real estate, gold, or foreign bank accounts, and much of the
illicit cash that is flowing around the system is used as slush funds, bribes and kickbacks to corrupt politicians.
Instead, this campaign can be seen as an attempt to accomplish, among other things, the identification and registration of the previously unbanked and untaxed masses, and the kick-starting of India's nascent cashless-payment economy.
The first aim is particularly interesting in light of India's ongoing efforts to force its 1.2 billion residents into the world's largest biometric database. And the second aim is particularly interesting in light ofNorbert Häring's recent report on how a little-noticed USAID program seems to have been the
catalyst for this demonetization experiment:
Not even four weeks before this assault on Indians, **USAID** had announced the establishment of _**Catalyst**_: Inclusive Cashless Payment Partnership,' with the goal of effecting a quantum leap in cashless payment in India. The [press statement](https://www.usaid.gov/india/press-releases/oct-14-2016-usaid-launches-catalyst-drive-cashless-payments-india) of October 14 says that _Catalyst_ 'marks the next phase of partnership between USAID and Ministry of Finance to facilitate universal financial inclusion.'
But the effort to biometrically register the population and the effort to transition into a cashless economy are, in fact, intimately related. As Häring notes, Alok Gupta, Catalyst's
Director of Project Incubation, was an original member of the team that developed Aadhaar, the Indian government's biometric identification system. And wouldn't you know it, the latest word from the World Economic Forum at Davos is that India is going to skip right over card-based cashless payments and go straight to biometric e-payments. According to biometricupdate.com:
The chief executive of India’s leading economic development agency told attendees at the World Economic Forum in Davos that the country could introduce biometric payments within three years, thereby eliminating the need for cash and typical electronic payment methods, including: automated teller machines, along with debit and credit cards.
That's right, Amitabh Kant, the head of the National Institution for Transforming India, a government-run policy institute, told the assembled globalists at Davos that India would leapfrog straight over the card-based economy and into the world of biometric payments. As he was creepily quoted by CNN:
Each one of us in India will be a walking ATM.
This is the direction that things are going in India. And, as I will discuss later this week on The Corbett Report, what is unfolding right now in India is no more than a test run for what will soon be implemented around the world should the globalists get their way.

As some of you may have noticed over the past month I've been powering down my Steem Power. Today marks the 4th in a row and after it's complete I'll be cancelling it and not powering down anytime soon in the foreseeable future. Let it be known that I am NOT exiting the STEEM network and my reasoning behind the power-down was to ensure I had enough funding to once again move to a new place.
It's been a stressful past month and as much as I'd like to say it hasn't effected my work or mental health it certainly has. Somewhere between run-down and uncomfortable is my current frame of mind. What it leaves is much room for improvement not only in my day to day but also in how fast I can code, test and launch my planned services for STEEM. Moving twice back to back within 2 months isn't something I'd wish on my most heinous rival.
I haven't been posting as much lately as I like nor getting the work that I'd hoped done completed. It's amazing how looming stresses of uncertainty have such a dire effect on my psyche. However rather than continue my power down in hopes that enough money can solve my problems I've decided to stop powering down.. Why? Because it's a lot harder to get STEEM than it was before the last hardfork and I'd love to have a respectable holding if possible in the future just for sheer speculation value alone.
I think I have enough fiat to move to another place. Just waiting on word back from a few places I'd looked at recently to see if I do infact have a place to move come the end of the month. I will keep everyone updated. Not giving up, it's not an option. Will STEEM on!
get back on the horse keep riding and go on to meet my goals. I owe it to STEEM.
With all this talk about human colonies on Mars, why not dream a little bigger? Dr. Stephen Kane and his team of researchers at San Francisco State University are looking about 14 lightyears away from our solar system for some potentially inhabitable real estate. Wolf 1061, a star system not terribly far from our own, has an interesting planet called Wolf 1061c. While scientists have known about the exoplanet since 2015, Kane and his team discovered that it’s squarely within the habitable zone—the region in the solar system where the atmospheric conditions could support liquid water. That said, Kane said that if there’s any life on the planet, it must be living under hostile conditions—similar to those of Venus—since it’s on the inner edge of the habitable zone, relatively close to its star. “The Wolf 1061 system is important because it is so close and that gives other opportunities to do follow-up studies to see if it does indeed have life,” Kane said, according to Sci News. His team’s findings will published in the next issue of Astrophysical Journal, though a pre-print is available here. ...
