Today I want to share a recipe with you, glutinous rice with coconut milk  (Aceh:  bulukat kuah tuhe)

This food looks simple, but it feels very delicious, and this is the traditional food of Aceh

You want to try it, Here are the ingredients and how to cook.

Ingredients :

  • 700 grams glutinous rice
  • 1,5 liter of coconut milk
  • 100 grams sugar
  • jackfruit according to taste
  • banana according to taste
  • 3 pandan leaf
  • 1 tablespoon salt

How to cultivate it:

  • wash glutinous rice, then steamed until cooked

  • clean jackfruit, then cut into pieces

  • Set skillet
  • enter coconut milk
  • enter pandan leaf
  • enter sugar
  • add salt
  • cooked 15  minutes, while stirring stir

  • enter jackfruit
  • enter banana
  • cooked 10  minutes, while stirring stir
  • Finished

Vanilla custard topped with strawberries

Yesterday, I was asked by my mom to help her prepare 50 portions of custard dessert and I thought I will share the recipe. The initial idea was to make creme brulee but we run out of gas in the torch so except of making the crunchy caramel we placed some blended strawberries on top. 

I hope you will enjoy this recipe!!

Ingredients (makes 5 portions):

  • 400 ml whipping or double cream (30-36% of fat)
  • 100 ml milk
  • 4 yolks
  • 50 g of sugar 
  • vanilla pod
  • strawberries

Steps:

1. Mix milk and cream together and separate about 1/4th of the mixture. To the smaller portion of cream add vanilla seeds and sugar. Then, heat it up on a low heat to dissolve the sugar (make sure not to boil the liquid). When sugar is dissolved, set the mixture aside to cool down.

2.  Separate the yolks from whites and add the remaining cream to the yolks. Then break the yolks slowly with a blender (it is important to make the smallest amount of froth possible).

3. When the cream with sugar cooled down, add it to the yolks and cream mixture. Then run the mixture through the strainer. 

4. Pour the mixture in a heat proof containers (I used glass jars of 110 ml volume).

5. Bake everything in a preheated oven at 95-100 oC for 1h (ready custard should have a jello like consistency). Then let the custard cool down and set in a fridge for couple of hours.

6. When the custard is set, use a blender to make strawberry mousse and place a spoon of it in top of the custard.

2 Dishes from One Pot - Romanian Dumplings Soup & Veggies Puree

It's winter time in Romania and we have daily bellow zero temperatures, a lot of snow, icy roads and dangerous icicles falling from the rooftops. Simply walking down the streets it's quite an adventure.

To give you a better idea about the current conditions in Bucharest, I'll repost this picture taken by @dragosroua a few days ago. I was right next to him when he took it, so I got to see them live. :)

In such rough conditions I feel the need for comfort food more than in any other time of the year.

So today I've made (only for the 3rd time this month :) one of the simplest and tastiest Romanian soups that remind me of my grandma's delicious food: dumplings veggie soup, and out of the remaining veggies, a sweet, tasty puree.

Although nothing compares to my late grandma's food, I believe I inherited some of her amazing cooking talents. :)

Without further ado, let's get to the recipe.

Ingredients:

3 carrots
4 potatoes
2 small red onions
2 red peppers pimiento type
1 small celery or a slice of a big one
1 zucchini
1-2 laurel leaves
1 inch ginger root
parsley
2 eggs
semolina
salt, pepper, olive oil

These are the veggies I had in the fridge. Feel free to play with the quantities and the type of veggies you have at hand. I usually add some parsnip but I didn't have one so I replaced it with a zucchini. So don't take my list as mandatory, but rather as a suggestion.

Instructions

The soup

  • First, prepare the paste for the dumplings. Mix the eggs with a bit of salt and pepper just like you'd prepare them for an omelette. Then add the semolina, one table spoon after another, mixing continuously with the fork until you obtain a paste that feels like a thick cream. Leave it alone so the semolina has time to absorb the moisture while you take care of the veggies.

  • Fill 3/4 of a 5L pot with cold water and put it on medium heat on the stove. Cover it with a lid to speed up the process.

  • Peel the potatoes, celery, onions and ginger, remove the seeds from the pimientos, cut the ends of the carrots and the zucchini, wash and cut all of them in big chunks. Add everything in the hot water pot except the zucchini. Add the laurel leaves, stir and put the lid back and set a timer for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes add also the zucchini. Leave to boil for 5-10 more minutes until all the veggies are tender.

  • Put a colander on top of another pot. Carefully, so you don not burn yourself, pour the content of your pot in the colander to separate the veggies from the soup. Leave the veggies to cool off a bit in a bowl while you start forming the dumplings. Pour the soup back into your pot and put it back on medium heat.

  • When the soup starts to boil again, turn the heat to a minimum. Add 1 tbsp of sea salt. Using the same tablespoon, wet it in the hot soup than fill it with the semolina paste. Put it in the hot soup and move it gently a few seconds until the dumpling slides off the spoon. Don't worry if some will disintegrate, it's OK. Most of them will turn into nice, yummy dumplings in the end.

  • Once you finish adding all the dumplings in the soup pour half a coup of cold water on top of them. This is a secret tip from my mother, it helps obtaining fluffy dumplings.

  • Put the lid back on and leave to boil for 20 to 30 minutes. The dumplings are ready when they double in volume and they are soft on the inside. You can check if they are ready using a fork. If you can easily push through they are ready. If you encounter resistance, then leave them a few more minutes.

  • Chop the fresh parsley. Taste for salt and add more if you want, add some ground black pepper, 1tbsp olive oil. Turn the heat off and sprinkle the parsley. Leave it to rest and cool off a few minutes. Then serve it and enjoy! :)

Using a hand blender puree the veggies until smooth. Add some salt and pepper to taste. That's it.

If you want you can keep a few veggies, chop them finely and add them back to the soup for a colourful joyful effect. That's what I did today.

POPCORN CARAMEL LAVA CAKE RECIPE

 These amazing Popcorn Caramel Chocolate Lava Cakes are to die for. Rich, moist, gooey filled with popcorn and warm chocolate cake exploding with caramel. They look so luxurious and impressive, but its so easy to make. I like popcorn, chocolate and caramel, s this is like all my favourite desserts rolled into one.

Ingredients 

200g dark chocolate, chopped 100g unsalted butter, chopped 

2 eggs 2 egg yolks 

1/2 cup (110 gr ) caster (superfine) sugar 

1/4 cup (35 gr) plain (all- purpose) flour, sifted 

dulche de leche / caramel / boiled condensed milk caramel popcorn inside and on top as decoration  Cocoa + Butter or cooking spray, for coating Caramel Sauce ( for decoration)

Directions

Step 1 : Preheat oven to 200 C or 390 F.  

Step 2: Melt your chocolate and butter in a microwave in 30 second breaks or over the saucepan over low heat and stir until the chocolate is melted and smooth. 

Step 3 : Place the eggs, extra yolks and sugar in a bowl and whisk until well combined. Add the chocolate mixture and flour and whisk again. 

Step 4 : Grease each ramekin with butter or cooking spray and add some cocoa powder around and coat each ramekin.  Step 5 : Spoon about 1-2 tbsp of the mixture into the moulds/ ramekins. Add 1 tsp of caramel filling in the centre of each mould. Add some caramel popcorn. Add another 1-2 scoops of chocolate mixture to cover it. Make sure your ramekins are 3/4 filled. Do not over fill them, because they are going to rise.  

Step 6 : Place moulds/ ramekins on a baking tray and bake for 12- 14 minutes OR until the cake springs back when you touch the surface with your finger. Gently turn out the cakes immediately and dust with icing sugar, popcorn, more caramel and cookies. Enjoy!

Recipe - Mango coconut cream
What to do with a mango?

Mango coconut cream dessert

I like mangos, so whenever they’re on sale, I buy them. A while ago, I couldn’t figure out what to do with the mango I bought. I didn’t feel like eating it just as it was (I otherwise have no problems with that, don’t worry!), so I browsed around the interwebs for some dessert ideas.

I found a lot of desserts with mango, yogurt and some form of sugar. I was low on yogurt though and had to save that for breakfast. And sugar? With mango? Besides my refusing to use sugar, that just seems like overkill.

I also found this warm mango, coconut recipe with some other stuff mixed in. That’s when I thought about the coconutmilk which was lying around in my fridge, not being used. Why not use that? So that’s how this easy, delicious, two-ingredient recipe came to be:

Ingredients for two:

  • 200ml Coconut milk (the proper stuff in which the cream and water separate)
  • 1 Mango (or canned mango)
  1. Make sure the coconut milk is well chilled. Mine was already in the fridge, but putting it there overnight will definitely do the trick. Take it out, don’t shake it (or hold it upside down) and open up the package/can.
  2. Skim the cream off of the top with a spoon, untill there’s only water left. You can use the water in a smoothie later.
  3. Put the cream into a small bowl and mix it for a couple of minutes.
  4. Cut the mango into pieces and put this in the blender. Blend untill there are no chuncks left.
  5. Mix the mango and coconut cream, divide over two glasses and put in the fridge untill used.

Real Italian pizza from healthy ingredients

The most delicious pizza recipe. Pizza with mozzarella, Tabasco sauce, sun-dried tomatoes and Parma ham.

What you'll need:

Dough:

  • 500 g flour
  • a pinch of salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 250-300 ml of warm water
  • 15 g dry yeast

Filling:

  • 2 bell peppers
  • 200 g of any mushrooms
  • 300 g Parma ham
  • 300 g of cheese (preferably mozzarella or Parmesan)
  • 3-4 tbsp tomato paste
  • Tabasco sauce – to taste
  • 8-10 sun-dried tomatoes
  • 10-12 olives
  • 4 tbsp olive oil

How to cook:

1. Sift flour slide on the table, make a well in the centre, add the salt, olive oil and yeast.

2. Gently pour the warm water and knead the dough, it should be pliable and soft, not sticking to hands.

3. Shape into a ball and put it in a large bowl, cover with a towel and put in warm place for 2-3 hours.

4. Prepare the vegetables for filling: peppers cut into rings, mushrooms – medium cubes, Parma ham in small strips, mozzarella – plates (if you use Parmesan, it is necessary to RUB on a small grater).

5. Roll out dough from approaching a thin layer, move it on a baking sheet lined with parchment, the sides should be slightly thicker base.

6. On the dough put the stuffing in this order: tomato paste, Tabasco sauce, Parma ham, sun-dried tomatoes, mushrooms, pepper, drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle olives and cheese.

7. Put the pizza in the oven for 30 minutes at a temperature of 180°C.

8. The finished pizza cut into triangular slices and immediately serve. Optionally garnish with fresh herbs.

today I want to share something with you, recipe How to make the banana cheese cake

This food tastes very delicious

  • material:

My Favorite Food - Meatball

Banana inside chocolate robe (Original for Steemit)




Hi Steemit communities, how are you today? I hopefully you are in good mood...

today I would like to show to make a Banana inside Chocolate robe. I share with you this easy and wonderful recipe! Preparation goodies you will not take much time

Ingredients :

  • Chicken eggs ........ 2 pcs
  • Milk................. 250ml
  • Sugar................ 1 tablespoon
  • Cocoa................ 1 tablespoon
  • Very fine flour...... 4 tablespoon
  • Sunflower oil
  • Honey
  • Banana
  • Walnut or pistachio nuts (coarsely chopped)

Recipe with pictures:



Step 1

Make the pancake batter: Mix together the milk, eggs, sugar and very fine flour. All mix well. Add the cocoa. Fry the pancakes on both sides




Step 2

Smear every pancake with honey and put the banana on every pancake. Roll up the pancakes and let rest at least 1 hour to make tastes interconnect




I serve it with a walnut or whipped cream

Banana cake

hello steemians, how are you today, hopefully in good health all

today I want to share something with you, recipe how to cook the Banana cake

This food tastes very delicious

  • material:

4 eggs

150 grams sugar

1 teaspoon sp

1 tablespoon wheat flour

1 tablespoon milk

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

200 grams banana, (puree wear cutlery)

120 ml cooking oil

Banana slices to taste

  • Step

1. Mix flour and mazena, while in strain

2. stir eggs with sugar until white and thickens

3. then enter the flour that has been filtered, milk, Banana, salt and vanilla stir again

4. basting pan with margarine

5. then pour batter into the baking pan

6. Sprinkle banana slices on top of batter

7. bake about 30 minutes

8. The cake is ripe

Muffins / cakes with white chocolate mi prevu worth more light than the very delicious

Carrot Muffin

Materials;

3 eggs

2.5 coffee cup sugar

1 cup of oil

1 glass of carrots (1 large carrot is enough)

3 coffee cups

1 packet of baking powder

Half-water-forged walnut

1 sweet spoon cinnamon


Preparation of;

Eggs and sugar are whipped. Liquid oil is added. Flour and baking powder are added by hand, the last carrot and walnut are added and mixed. Pour into muffin molds and cook until 170 degrees in the preheated oven. Melt the white chocolate. Remove the kelp from the mold and clean the mold. Chicken Roti

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 boneless breast of chicken
  • 1 medium onion, chopped chunky
  • 1 green pepper, chopped chunky
  • 1 large carrot, peeled sliced thinly
  • 2 large potato, peeled and cubed
  • 1 can chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 cloves crushed garlic
  • 2 Tbs. curry powder
  • 2-3 tsp. Blind Betty Original Recipe
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • fresh chopped parsley
  • 4 large flower tortillas
  • 1 jar mango chutney or fruit salsa

METHOD / DIRECTIONS:

In a large skillet sauté garlic, onion 1-2 minutes. Add chicken and sauté till cooked but tender add green pepper and carrots. Sauté 1-2 min. Add chicken broth, potatoes and as much water as needed to cover everything. Simmer till potatoes are very tender and begin to reduce broth. Add all spices and flavorings to taste.

Cover and turn off. This can now stand till just before serving time. It will thicken a little as it cools. At suppertime heat the roti mixture to a boil stirring with a wooden spoon. You want a nice thick curry stew. Reduce more if too runny. Warm tortillas, place on plate, put generous portion of roti in center of tortilla. Fold into flat tube with ends folded under. Serve with chutney on top. Salad and rice good accompanyments.

Kibble of pumpkin with bertalha

For mass:


400g of hokkaido pumpkin

1 ½ cup of wheat tea for kibbe

1 chopped onion

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup minced fresh mint tea

1 teaspoon of black pepper

1 teaspoon cumin powder

2 cups warm water

salt

Shoyu

Toasted sesame oil

For the filling:


1 bundle of bertalha

½ chopped onion

1 tablespoon ghee or olive oil                                                                                                                                                                                                 Method of preparation


For mass:


Drizzle the pumpkin with a wire of olive oil and place to bake in the oven at 180 ° C for 30 minutes.

Moisturize the wheat in warm water for about 20 minutes.

Remove the pumpkin from the oven and remove the pulp.

In a bowl, knead the pumpkin with the fork and season with salt, pepper, cumin, shoyu, onion and garlic.

Drain the hydrated wheat.

Add the wheat and mint to the pumpkin puree and mix well. Adjust with more seasoning if needed.

Open the dough in your hand and fill it with the shredded berth.

Model in quibes format.

Bake for 40 minutes at 180 °.

For the filling:


In a frying pan, heat the ghee or olive oil.
