I love Bacalar, because it is super beautiful, the people are nice and it has such a magical vibe that calms everybody down!
Sustainability is really important and everybody takes care of the lake, forest and animals.
From Playa del Carmen you can get there by ADO bus which takes you about 3.5 hours.
There are already a few hostels and low cost hotels to find for all kinds of travelers at Bacalar town and also in its surroundings around the lake. A night costs between 5 and 10USD depending if you want to sleep in a hammock, tent, school bus, dorm, private room or cabaña :)
It is perfect to escape from the loud party city Playa Del Carmen and just get to some chilly hammock over the water in the middle of now where watching the beautiful water or even the stars at night.
Almost every place has a swing and hammocks on the water. People love it to take awesome pictures.
The golf course was previously owned by the city and has been in existence for decades.
It had previously been losing roughly $250,000 thousand dollars per year.
Grand Canyon University partnered with the city of Phoenix to renovate the old course. $10 million dollars was put into renovations with a complete overhaul of the dining facility and golf shop being a high priority.
Which can be seen here:
I have been wanting to get out on the course ever since the new renovations took place.
Finally I got my chance.
This is the view down the practice range:
The tees were moved way up so
Funny thing is I do not even play this game and did not know what the hell was going on half the time! :) Congrats to TSM, fellow Canucks (well .. 3 of them are anyway) .. they will be moving on to the Summer Finals.
Took some pics ..
I met a lot of great people .. many Americans came up for the sold out event - there seemed to be as many C9 fans there as were rooting f
Fullback Kyle Juszczyk can afford to buy a vowel (his name is pronounced “youz-check”). After carrying the ball only seven times for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL) in 2016, he scored a huge free agent deal with the San Francisco 49ers last month. Juszczyk’s new four-year contract is worth $21 million, the richest contract ever given to a fullback. It gives new meaning to his nickname,
Why did the 49ers spend that much on a fullback? Juszczyk is a very good player who can make things happen offensively. He can run the ball, catch passes, pass protect the quarterback, and run as a lead blocker in front of other running backs. For those reasons, he is one of the best fullbacks in the game and was named to the All Pro team in 2016.
However, all of that wasn’t worth $21 million. In today’s game, fast-paced passing offenses lead the way, so backs who carry the ball no

Ever since it first happened to me I found the “under the tree moment” one of the most profoundly life changing experiences of my life. The best way to sum up the experience is this: Imagine that you are a first year guide and you chose to join a trip on an unfamiliar river. There is a large and intimidating rapid full of churning whitewater consisting of 3 drops with no slack water. In each drop there are several large boulder obstacles and 8 foot waves deflecting off of the walls. Now imagine that you just got thrown out in the top of the rapid, bashed around the rocks only to be worked in the massive hole at the bottom. You drag your half drowned self out of the river and don’t stop crawling until you reach a tree well out of the water then contemplate your life choices. If this sounds familiar you have definitely had the under the tree moment.
Karate, yap (空手道) is a martial art born from Japan, it is protection and attack.
At first, karate was like a system of hand-to-hand combat, it was invented only for self-defense. For today, karate has become famous throughout the world, thanks to demonstration performances. Experienced karate masters can split the palm ice, and with a kick of the foot, break down the pine wood, which is to be thickened - 15 cm, Head and elbow can break the stacks of roofing tiles. The breaking of different objects demonstrates only physical strength, this is not an indicator of the skill of karate. In karate, the degree of direct contact between wrestlers is minimal, and in order to lay the opponent on the floor, targeted powerful punches and kicks are applied to the vital points of his body. It was from the island of Okinawa that karate got to Japan. Okinawa was the kingdom of Ryukyu, which had connections with China and Japan. After the island of Ryukyu was conquered by samurai. Resid

I am assuming that I cannot
I certainly can't
dab on em like a pro.
The reason I wrote
assuming is that I have never tried. I have honestly never even wanted to.
You would think that writing this would make me a little curious. But it has not. Given the apparent proper dabbing form, I don't think I could tell by looking in the mirror if I am doing it properly or not. This would mean that I would have to call someone over to judge me. Or I could set up a video camera to record my attempt. But that sounds like an awful lot of effort. That could also lead to the existence of permanent embarrassing evidence of my inability to dab. What would happen if that fell into the wrong hands?
Therefore, I simply won't.
Given my lack of practice and knowledge of whether or not I can actually pull it off, do you think it would be a good idea to find out for the first time while in pub
A solid welterweight match is scheduled for this saturday, as two former world titlists, Shawn Porter(26-2-1 with 16 KOs) and Andre Berto(31-4-0 with 24 KOs) square off.
Shawn porter, 29 years old, is a big and stocky welterweight who is trying to reclaim the world champion status he briefly held, losing his title in his second defense against Kell Brook. He’s coming off a loss to undefeated Keith Thurman, who coincidently is the WBC champ that will be facing the winner of this particular fight.
Andre Berto, 33 years old, is a two time world titlist who is coming off of a win over Victor Ortiz last year. His KO of Ortiz in the 4th round avenged his first career loss. Berto has been known for his power, heart, and exciting fighting style for years now.
This fight is an excell
Think you know what ancient Rome was like? Think again. Here are five fascinating and surprising facts about one of the most famous empires in human history.
Everyone thinks about gladiators when talking ancient Rome, However this form of entertainment was dwarfed by chariot racing.
Modern archaeologists have estimated that the gladiator Colosseum could hold 50,000 roman spectators, while the home of the chariot races, Circus Maximus could hold over 250,000 fans.
"Roman charioteers earned more than even the best-paid footballers and international sports stars of today, according to academic research. One charioteer, named Gaius Appuleius Diocles, amassed a fortune equivalent to $15 billion USD today."

Klitschko was a heavyweight title holder for almost 10 years, and is coming off his first defeat in that same time frame from Tyson Fury in 2015. Wladimir is facing almost a year and a half of inactivity, mostly due to the scheduled rematch with Fury that was cancelled on short notice. That inactivity won’t help him against the young Brit, Joshua, who has been active and racking up KO after KO.
Anthony Joshua was an Olympic gold medalist in 2012, and has moved up the ranks as a professional faster than any other heavyweight in recent history. At only 18-0 with 18 KOs as a professional, he won the IBF world title from Charles Martin and already defend
