There are many logical reasons Steem is undervalued but lets just explore some of the major ones. First, Steem is a platform that can possibly replace ALL social media websites if not force a majority of them to operate on top of the Steem blockchain. But beyond that Steem is capable of many feats we often forget.
Censorship Resistance- The Steem blockchain provides us with the capabilities to imprint any post in a permanent fashion on the block chain, the worst that can happen is the post is flagged is hidden until a user clicks a button to view it anyways, noone can delete it once it goes live, not even you, even if you edit it, the old post is always visible on the blockchain. That itself is world changing.
Life Changing Technology- Beyond the fact we can save many journalists &am
Getting adding to more exchanges is always a good thing as it allows more visibility for not only Steem, but your posts as well! Beyond the extra money and users flowing into the system you can be sure that more exchanges also means more liquidity, more posts, more upvotes & overall more usage of the Steem blockchain which is really the goal afterall, right?
China is the largest market Steem has yet to conquer in my opinion and this could be the tipping point that changes that for the long term. Not only would we see the 'cn' tag rise to to the top of the lists, the user base would be much more active during the evenings, which is when Steem usage usually dies down as most of us a
Take a look! Within a few hours I have well over 90 200 retweets, and 200 500+ likes, and it just keeps going, I have never had something get this much reach and its just yet more proof #Steem is growing in popularity and FAST! It's almost crazy how many more people are aware of Steemit compared to last summer, and I expect big things this year!
Hey, Cloudheads! y, Cloudheads... dheads... Echo! Echo... Do you want me to throw a rope down that deep deep hole? I understand if you just want to curl up into a ball for a minute to process everything. Go on, take y
Way back when Steemit was booming and the price was upwards of $3-$4, users were jumping up left and right to help the growth of Steemit.com and the Steem blockchain, there was billboards going up around the world, videos being made, referral encouragement and everything you could ever ask for in a self driven community, but then came the ever so rude dump that eventually took us all the way down to .10... well that might be why we haven't seen much about Steemit billboards in the past 7 months since then.
Well good news folks, the price has rebounded and I have just gotten off the phone with Clear Channel aka Lamar and will be getting a billboard or two here in the next couple week
I've made a few posts now when people hit the 10k mark, because it's a big accomplishment. I'm in this Top Poster category too, and it is a lot of work!! I know it.
You cannot buy that. You cannot bot your way (not really and bots are impersonal LOL) to the Top 10 or to 10k posts like a few of us have been able to do on here.
I reached 10k posts earlier this month myself, on May 8th, and I will tell you I am so happy for my friend here, @doitvoluntarily.
I have been watching him creep towards this number for weeks now. I was out of the house more than normal this last week so when I saw him just about to go over the other night before I went to bed, he must have passed it then, I do not know the exact time it happened but I noticed very late last night, he had gone over, I snapped this screenie as I w
I'm a guy that appreciates a decent car and have had Caddies myself. (Pics in this post also.)
As a kid born and raised in the GM town Oshawa where GM actually started, the auto and GM culture was just something that is natural thing for most of us in a town like this.
I've had Cadillacs, as I said, so this held special significance for me.
That is one of my Caddies - a low km. very well maintained 2000 STS.
I was reminded today of the time about 2 yrs. ago, I was out for a drive with a friend, after we had a burger in Whitby and right near that burger joint which is famous locally in the city beside me (Starr Burger in Whitby) - I spied this sweet car on the lot of a well known local
Today I have kicked my Steemit love up a notch, not for what it can do for myself but I decided to focus today more on what I can do for the whole of the Steemit community. I have been racking my brain all week on what I got to do so I can convert my 18K followers from my horror community to our Steemit profile @horrordwell here. Then it hit me, I have so many contacts in this industry...from filmmakers to authors and maybe its time I focus on first generating interest in them to join Steemit and let my followship grow naturally through our own little community backing each other.
I believe in my heart Steemit needs diverse topics, and empower all types of artists and talents so maybe the key to growing our little community will lie in informing those with these creative gifts about the amazing tool this place can be for them.
I spent a few hours
I have taken this subject pretty seriously over the years. You need time offline.
Regularly & Intentionally. For lots of reasons.
My plan with this series is to intentionally remind you, daily to get offline, give your brain, eyes, soul a break and time to reset and remind you that relationships with people can suffer if you are always on your phone and not PRESENT -- in every sense of the word.
The irony of bringing this series to you online, asking you to get offline, on an online blogging platform, is not lost on me.
There have been limited studies done on some of the effects of this digital hold on our lives and they are concerning to say the least. Social media
Why would you climb a mountain in the desert?
To get to the other side where there's shade! This is near the Dead Sea in Israel.

The multi-talented @verbal-d (who, by the way, edited this chapter) has bestowed a wonderful gift for this story. Known for his lyrical rhymes, he's also a master when it comes
I have been aiming to get off grid for years but the Grid and the Government don't want you to leave their tax farms they need you in. I love being outside and being in nature and living off the land that the good Lord gave us and the government taketh away.
That's me again in the photo there. I can sleep 350 nites a year in a hammock, no problems with the proper gear and skills -- Read on!
All photos taken by me except a couple where I was in the shot and someone used my phone LOL.
A well needed respite from the Israeli sun can be had in the busy shuk, or market in the Muslim Quarter of Jerusalem's Old City. As you can see from the light coloured walkway stones, when you're in the sun, you get it from above and reflected from below. It takes some getting used to! (Sunscreen under my chin?!)
You can get good deals on crafts and different foodstuff, but you gotta haggle, it's expected, respected, and part of the fun.
By the Atlantic ocean, Nianing Senegal has beaches and abundant greenery. It was at all layers. On the ground, at one's knees, head height, as well as small and massive trees. It's a perfect candidate location for a proper food forest if managed a bit.

He beckoned me in,
Then sat down at the table.
His eyes were wide and dark,
What you'd see in a fable.
I sat across from him,
Eager to hear the big news.
I tried to read his face,
But it gave away no clues.
His pupils slowly dilated,
Until they matched his skin.
He looked vaguely familiar,
Perhaps he was my kin.
He stared into my eyes,
And I started in return.
This would of gone for hours,
But my eyes started to burn.
He was strangely silent,
Not a word did he speak.
His eyes were deathly serious,
But his figure was meek.
My curiosity was killing me,
My heart and mind distraught.
What was it you wanted?
Up until now Steem had the upper hand but it seems like the rest of the communities out there have caught on and are on the top of their games, as they most likely know how much help a larger Chinese community would be to their coin. This means one thing and one thing only, we need to step up our game as well. Right now both Monero and Ethereum Classic have quite large leads on us and we need as many votes as we can get over the next 6 days!

So not only do my friends think I work full-time at Steemit.com as a blogger and get to see this anytime any of the 1,000 or so people come to my profile, they also get to see I'm a self employed individual which leads them to believe Steemit is supporting me, which it sort of is honestly, well crypto in general at least. Even though I run a website design business and have clients that pay me well, I choose to keep advertising Steemit.com over my own business, know why? It's the more worthwhile and beneficial thing in the long run, in my opinion. I would rather someone else find out about Steemit and sign up than let people know I sell websites, because why not?
