| body | "Hello all, this is my mtb ride this morning from Sanborn County Park in Los Gatos to Saratoga Gap Open Space Preserve. (An out and back ride) Near the start of the initial climb is very green along the creek.
The ride was 21 miles and 3,000 feet of climbing over 3 hours.

Most of the trail is smooth single track with some technical bits, roots/rocks.
Near the top is this VW that took a wrong turn off of the mountain road above which is quite a ways up there. I don't know the exact story behind this car...
Testing the Galaxy S8 on this pretty wildflower near the top of the climb. I haven't seen this type of flower before on this trail.
I past Castle Rock park on my way to Saratoga Gap...
There are a lot of large redwood trees on the ridgeline. This shot turned out a bit dark, so I altered it to look like what I was actually seeing.
