| body | "I heard about such stories before. This is really awful. Alcohol is capable of any normal human to make an animal. Although, I think, the reason why a person starts to drink, is deeper. Most often, he just can't digest emotional pain. And is trying to numb it with alcohol. I don't want to justify the author's father, but also do not want to judge him. I want to believe that everyone inside is kind and good. But everyone makes mistakes. Who among us didn't make mistakes?
I am sure that drunkenness should not be encouraged. However, in my opinion, alcoholism is a disease that must be treated. Just now in society, few are able to understand the root causes of alcoholism and to save people from this disease.
If the job for this person would not have been everything to him, he would not commit this slow suicide with alcohol. Perverse values of life - that is the cause of alcoholism, in my opinion. If a person is taught to love his job more than anything in life, this man is doomed to disaster. As soon as he is fired, he will take it as the end of his life.
Do you know who is Nick Vujicic? Here is an example of a person who relies on more than just career or money. I think we all have something to learn from him. And once we understand the secret of his happiness, will we be able to build our life values properly, and to educate our children so that they will not despair under any circumstances.
