<center>**At the begining of the quarantine I started receiving text messages from clients asking me what they could do to remove semi-permanent nail polish from their nails and which alternatives they have in order to do so.**</center>
<center><sub>*Due to the characteristics of the semi-permanent nail polish composition it's not possible to remove it the same way we remove traditional nail polish, so the mission of this post is to inform you about the available options to do so it from my point of view and practice.*</sub></center>

**Working Time:** 30 - 60 minutes
**Difficulty:** low - medium

### <center> STEP #1 </center>
<div class="text-justify">To clean the surface of our nails with an alcohol impregnated cotton and then with a file proceed to remove the shiny layer of our polish. Avoid filling to hard so as not to cause friction burns or weaken our nails</div>
<div class="text-justify">I like to file in one direction only and a slow - moderate speed. The surface should be opaque because this is an indicator that the surface is ready for the application of the remover material.</div>
### <center> STEP #2 </center>
<div class="text-justify">To apply the nail polish remover over the surface of each nail. Once this is done, we must cover each surface with a piece of cotton and then hold each cotton with a plastic clip or aluminium foil. Let it run for 5 minutes.</div>
<div class="text-justify"> Sometimes it's necessary to repeat the procedure twice in order to remove all the nail polish. This will depend on several factors such as the brand of the nail polish remover, the thickness of each layer, the filling before applying the nail polish remover, among others.</div>
### <center> STEP #3 </center>
<div class="text-justify"> After 5 minutes we proceed to remove the plastic clips and cottons, take an orange stick and start to lift the nail polish with a delicate but firm way in every movement. Avoid putting too much pressure on it.</div>
<div class="text-justify">If we don't manage to remove it completely at once, we repeat the procedure until we do It.</div>
### <center> STEP #4 </center>
<div class="text-justify"> Finally we remove the remains with the bledo and clean the surface of the nails with a cotton or gauze impregnated with alcohol.</div>

### <center> PASO #1 </center>
<div class="text-justify">Limpiar nuestras u帽as con un algod贸n impregnado en alcohol para luego con una lima proceder a eliminar la capa brillante de nuestro esmalte. No realizar mucha presi贸n porque podemos ocasionar quemaduras por fricci贸n e incluso debilitar la superficie de nuestras u帽as.</div>
<div class="text-justify">Me gusta realizar el limado en una sola direcci贸n y con una velocidad lenta - moderada. La superficie debe quedar opaca, esto es un indicador de que la superficie est谩 preparada para la colocaci贸n del material removedor.</div>
### <center> PASO #2 </center>
<div class="text-justify">Aplicar el removedor de esmalte en cantidades generosas sobre la superficie de cada u帽a. Una vez hecho esto debemos cubrir cada superficie con algod贸n. Sujetamos cada algod贸n con una pinza pl谩stica o papel aluminio. Dejamos actuar por 5 min.</div>
<div class="text-justify"> A veces es necesario repetir el procedimiento dos veces para lograr retirar todo el esmalte. Esto depender谩 de varios factores como la marca del removedor, el grosor de las capas de esmalte, el limado previo a la colocaci贸n, entre otros.</div>
### <center> PASO #3 </center>
<div class="text-justify"> Pasados los 5 min procedemos a retirar las pinzas y algod贸n, tomamos un palito de naranja y comenzamos a levantar el esmalte de una forma delicada pero firme en cada movimiento. Evitar hacer mucha presi贸n.</div>
<div class="text-justify"> Si no logramos retirar el esmalte por completo, volvemos a colocar removedor y repetimos el mismo procedimiento.</div>
### <center> PASO #4 </center>
<div class="text-justify"> Para finalizar retiramos los restos con el el y limpiamos la superficie de las u帽as con un algod贸n o gasa impregnada en alcohol.</div>
