This was a conversation between Ananias and God concerning Paul. Now Ananias had probably listened, heard and overheard a number of these reports about Paul. So, how does that relate to us?
Well, when we listen to or even just hear or overhear bad reports about a person (some true, some exaggerated and yet some slanderous), it could becloud our conscience when it comes to that person even to the point that for a second we forget that Christ died for ALL including that person 😁 (been there). In those times, just like Ananias, be open in prayers to God and He'll lead you on how to communicate and associate with such a person in love.
