The name comes from the Hindu god Aruna. The temple had built with colorful porcelain in the seventeenth century.Also, it is known as Wat Chaeng, Wat Arun or the Temple of the Dawn. You can witness colorful porcelain tiles and seashells, Giant statues, the Ordination Hall, the Bell Tower, and many Buddha statues. Its height is more than 80 meters. It is decorated with porcelain so that they glimmer in the sunshine.

>Tapınağın adi Hindu tanrısı Aruna'dan geliyor. Tapınak küçük cin porselenleriyle dekor edilmiş güneş ışığıyla parlasın daha güzel görünsün diye. O kadar güzel ki. Sadece cin porselenleri değil, deniz kabukları, devasa heykeller, Ordination Hall, kuleler ve birçok Buddha heykeli. Tapınağın yüksekliği 80 metreden fazla ama sadece bir yere kadar tırmanabiliyorsunuz.

In order to get there take Bts(Skytrain) to Saphan Taksin boat pier and take a Chao Phraya express boat. (100 Baht for round trip)The Wat Arun opens at 8 am until 5:30 pm and 50 Baht. You can take a whole day trip so that you can see other places on the river like China Town. Royal Palace.Flower Market...

>Olurda yolunuz buralara düşerse, bu tapınağa gitmek için Bts(Skytrain) metro benzeri bir şey, Saphan Taksin durağında inip Chao Phraya express botlarına 100 Baht ödeyerek ulaşabilir yada tüm günlük bir gezi bileti alip nehir etrafındaki diğer yerleri de ziyaret edebilirsiniz China Town, Kraliyet Sarayı, Çiçek marketi... Tapınak 8 de açılıyor aksam 5:30 'a kadar ziyaret edilebilir ama sabah saatlerini tavsiye ederim daha az kalabalıkla rahat rahat gezebilirsiniz.

I would recommend spending at least an hour for visiting this temple. It is quite beautiful and peaceful. You will amaze by the architecture of the temple with Chinese porcelain. And make sure dress probably it is a place of worship for Buddhists. You can rent or buy a cover when you get there.
