[There are aspects of Independence Day that irk me,](https://steemit.com/life/@jacobtothe/in-dependence-day-musings) and I am too tired to deal with the fireworks crowd tonight. I completely understand your frustration with the plastic patriotism. Dollar stores can be a great source for cheap gallon jugs of drinking water. The Dollar Tree chain stores here were a godsend when our water pipes froze somewhere in the middle of the yard in the dead of winter.

Yes, I am actually headed back to the dollar store tomorrow to pick up some more water. I picked some up even cheaper while in Michigan, but Murder Dog and I have used almost all if that by now.
